WEEK 2 MINGLE - ARTEMISIA

Things had changed so rapidly in the past few days.

The loss of two of them hung over like a shroud, made even worse by the fact that an innocent person had been executed.

Was this....how the rest of the game was going to go...?🗈

....Even if it was, there wasn't much they could do now. Yuuko herself hasn't shown up in public since the trial, and while some have talked to her, she's been...subdued.

Did the trial hurt her just as much as them?

Regardless, the island is still beautiful, if deadly. Summer continues, beaming down on all of them, the waves of the sea warm and inviting.

But even if things look bleak...

They have something in their hands that will soon lead to the Truth, and the heart of this matter.

And in the air...lies a heavy sense that everything is about to change.

Actually, Feathers said that this Game is part of the reason she became a Witch in the first place. Something she could only do as a Witch, but something Yuuko didn't want her to do.

But the funny is that Yuuko's the one who picked.

What do you think the ghost wants from them? Or us.

There is the word I could not make out.

'Help', or 'Save', seems to be the most likely word to fill in between, but it might be other words.

"Then kill me, violently -- and make sure it hurts."

[Yeah, he said it. And in a light sort of sing-song, probably not unlike the song that Ruler himself heard, because Anon is always here for inappropriate and meta Vocaloid mimics.]

Isn't that the most obvious solution? Of course, it might be a little harder if it actually was a ghost.

It is not beyond the realm of possibility. But we should at least gather more information before we act.

I don't think there's anything else we can do! We don't even know where one of our Witches is, let alone the ghost.

By the way, I've been wondering about the last bit of the Epitaph. What does it say?

We're still missing pieces from the puzzle in the middle. But you always have to start solving from the edges, anyway. Eternal rest, eternal rest...

Is 'one' a person or just 'the Beginning'?

Usually when used, the phrase Ab uno disce omnes means 'from one example, the truth may be learned', that by observing, you should be able to discern the general rule that governs most situations. And by understanding the general rules, you can then discern the exceptions.

I don't know about that. I don't think anybody can really be honest when having a wish here just means you might kill somebody. But you know? I don't think there are many people alive who don't have wishes.

Well, that's true. There's different kinds of skepticism, though. I would say you're a pretty terminal case!
