WEEK 2 MINGLE - ARTEMISIA
Things had changed so rapidly in the past few days.
The loss of two of them hung over like a shroud, made even worse by the fact that an innocent person had been executed.
Was this....how the rest of the game was going to go...?🗈

....Even if it was, there wasn't much they could do now. Yuuko herself hasn't shown up in public since the trial, and while some have talked to her, she's been...subdued.
Did the trial hurt her just as much as them?
Regardless, the island is still beautiful, if deadly. Summer continues, beaming down on all of them, the waves of the sea warm and inviting.
But even if things look bleak...
They have something in their hands that will soon lead to the Truth, and the heart of this matter.
And in the air...lies a heavy sense that everything is about to change.

Most likely because I'm making medicine. I'm not ruining the kitchen, I promise. As you can see, I'm staying away from where anyone usually cooks. And I'll clean up after myself.

Well... you'd better!
[He doesn't actually seem that offended, it's fine.
Instead, he rubs at his nose a little, wrinkles it a couple times, and then comes over to spy on whatever the heck Kurama is doing to the plants.]
Is this stuff all from the garden? What exactly are you making, anyway?

It seems to be the only thing out in the flower gardens, it's completely replaced the laurel. And this plant is useful for pain and fever, so I'm making medicine out of it.
[There are bits of mugwort in various stages of being torn apart and brutalized into usable form.]

[And the kalmia itself was rather nice; he's not as much of a flower guy overall, but he can still appreciate a good sprig or two. Or a garden, at that.
All the same, he examines the mugwort.]
I guess this might be more useful, though? It can't cure death, but it can probably cure anybody who runs into a tree or a fire or anything else.
