Things had changed so rapidly in the past few days.

The loss of two of them hung over like a shroud, made even worse by the fact that an innocent person had been executed.

Was this....how the rest of the game was going to go...?🗈

....Even if it was, there wasn't much they could do now. Yuuko herself hasn't shown up in public since the trial, and while some have talked to her, she's been...subdued.

Did the trial hurt her just as much as them?

Regardless, the island is still beautiful, if deadly. Summer continues, beaming down on all of them, the waves of the sea warm and inviting.

But even if things look bleak...

They have something in their hands that will soon lead to the Truth, and the heart of this matter.

And in the air...lies a heavy sense that everything is about to change.

Wondering if there's a gimmick or something.

[ You know... like his and Wheat Thick's. ALSO FRIENDO ROOM. ]

Like your tiny keyblade? [ The size is weird, but Natsuno thinks keyblades in general are weird. ]

Exactly like that. Have you looked at the face? Pinocchio looks terrified!

[ He's not sure if it's funny or just sad? ]

[ Stopping at the doorway to look at Pinocchio carefully and making a face. ]

My parents would have probably liked it. [ And unlocking the door! Sora successfully passed the friendship(?) check. ]

You can come in, just don't forget to take that thing with you. [ Natsuno's room is well... pretty boring actually. His bed is neat and doesn't look slept in at all, and everything else looks pretty standard besides the dark blue beanbag that's in the corner. Ah, and there's a stack of books on his desk, but that probably makes sense given how frequent he haunts the library. ]

[ What kind of parents do you even have dude...

And what's that? He wants Pinocchio keeping him company in his room? ]

Your room is a lot neater than mine is!

[ Time to poke the bean bag chair. ]

[ It's a story. ]

I don't have a reason to use it much. [ But he's a pretty neat person by default. Poking the bean bag chair yields nothing out of the ordinary! It is in fact, seemingly a normal beanbag chair.... ]

No fair! Why do you and Riku get the good prizes?

What did he get? [ Sitting on his bed, he refuses to use the bean bag chair on principal. ]

Chocolate. [ THATS COOL he will go sit in the bean bag chair while he lightly sulks ]

You really did get the worst thing. [ Good news! The beanbag chair is pretty comfy. Bad news(?) Sora will start to feel very sleepy. ]

[keydomhearts]

Right? I must have done- [ He yawns and his eyes feel heavy. ] Something...

[ Starts to lean backwards because wow he's tired. ]

Probably. The witches have to like you more than me. [ Or was it the goatmen who gave them this stuff? Thinking for a moment, he only belatedly realizes how Sora trailed off there. ]

Sora? It can't be that comfortable.

[keydomhearts]

Huh? [ His voice is heavy. ] It's not I just...feel really. [ Another yawn and his eyes start to close. ] Sleepy.

Hey—I said you could come in but don't sleep here. [ Leaning forward onto his knees with a :| face. ]

[keydomhearts]

[ Too late. His breathing evens out and his eyes aren't opening. He's sleeping. ]

[ Gdamnit.

This is probably karma for how he would fall asleep in Tohru's room like this. Or it could be the beanbag chair. Knowing what Sora said about gimmicks, it's probably both. With a sigh, Natsuno flops back into his own bed to wait.

It's not like Sora can sleep very long anyway, right? Good thing he's a 90's kid who would have hated Chain of Memories. ]

[ a year later... ]

[ It's a hour and some how he manages to rotate in the chair so that his head is closest to the floor and his feet are up where his head was.

And then he'll fall on to the floor face first! BAM!

Still out though for another five minutes! Then he'll finally roll over and then jump up. ]

Huh?! How did I end up here?

[ And why does his face hurt ]

[ Natsuno sits up when Sora falls face first onto the floor, poking him a few times before moving back to the bed to wait. Head in his hand, he quips sarcastically when the other boy finally awakens. ]

Good morning, sunshine. You can blame the beanbag for that, unless you're a narcoleptic.

[keydomhearts]

I'm not normally unless magic is involved...

[ Rubbing his head as he looks at the bean bag. ]

For real? How do you know it's that and not something else?

[ Did someone drug him? who knows ]

You wouldn't wake up, I tried. What else could it be?
