WEEK 1 INVESTIGATION

It had almost been a week since everyone had been brought here.
The days had gone by with no hint of trouble, not from the Witch, or any of her servants. It almost seemed like nothing would happen after all.

Yet, as everyone woke up...something felt different.
Like there was some kind of predator nearby...waiting... 🗈

...It felt....off. Like they were going to see something that shouldn't be seen....or feel something that shouldn't be felt.

After all....there was this ominous feeling echoing in the rooms. Like something nearby was just...waiting for them to stumble the right way, bringing them closer to it's hungry mouth...

...

No matter what it is, though, they had to step forward.

They had....to finally, truly start this game.

[he isn't sure it'll make much of a difference, but Shadow will be sniffing everyone -- for traces of blood and for the acrid smell of pesticides.

Obviously Sora, Ruler, and Erhard will have a blood smell to them]

[ Syaoran will probably smell like food because he was with Watanuki, but he's otherwise fresh of any suspicious smells. ]

[ He did touch Erika, but it's not bad compared to your corpse touchers. He probably smells like Riku though. He's clean of pesticides. ]

[Well, this guy also smells a little like blood since he’s been literally crawling around the crime scene while everyone else was staring super seriously at the body, but not much more so than anyone else at the scene! He also smells like sea salt, damp teenage boy, and sand.]

Hey, have you tried sniffing the trail outside yet?

Wait...do hedgehogs have a heightened sense of smell? I've never heard of that, but I guess I've never asked a hedgehog before.

The foundation earth variants have very poor eyesight and make up for it with their sense of smell... My vision is quite acute, so my nose isn't anything super special. But certainly more acute than a human's.

clear smells almost unnaturally clean. if he has a body odor at all, it's extremely subtle. but that's not important, not important. what is important is that when shadow comes close, clear reaches forward and tries to pet him. ]

[Takumi is here, sleepily drinking coffee. He holds his arms out when asked.

He does, in fact, smell like old blood as well as antibacterial topical medication, and healing oozing skin.

Under all that is a lingering smell of ozone. And his coffee smells... questionable.]

[Wheatley smells like a robot. A mostly electric robot, but a robot nonetheless.

He gives Shadow a weird look as the edgehog gets close.]

[Gebura smells like... She's been through like half the house today. And also smells faintly of goat spit.

...Along with whatever Gebura normally smells like, which is probably some combination of uncomfortable scents that should not be together, along with rust and the faint scent of blood.]
