It was noon on Friday.

No matter where they were, no matter what they were doing...the moment the chimes rang out through the hall, they felt a change.

The world...began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards another, much larger world...🗈

This new world looked like...the inside of an ornate courtroom, like something that wouldn't be too far from some kind of grand fantasy novel.

The Witch, Lambdadelta was there, sitting in the most important place, smiling brightly at everyone. There was no music to be heard, but... perhaps on another plane, in another place, someone else heard music as they gazed upon the proceedings.

As they looked around, they might have also been surprised to see that their forms had changed - perhaps only slightly, or a much more dramatic change. It seemed like this place demanded a different form in some way, even if it was just a change of clothing.

...There was a deep silence in the room, one that no one wanted to break. It was the faint tension in the air, like the moments before a race or a competition begins.

Yesterday had been the start of the game. But now, armed with all they knew...now, they had to truly go up against the Witch, and somehow.....win.

He fell to the ground before he was shot. So maybe that was because of blood loss, but he wasn't quite dead yet?

Gut wounds are nasty, he was probably pretty fucked up.

...if the door and window were still locked- is it possible the killer stayed in the room overnight?

Whoa. That's creepy. And they slipped back to their own room after? But wouldn't you and Big Blue have found them?

Depends on how long they were willing to wait- we didn't do a head count or anything. And for a while it was just me in there. They could have left through the window to hide the weapons, then snuck back in and locked it behind them and hid all night in the closet or bathroom.

Do we know if he fell, or if he lowered himself to the ground? If the message was his, then there would need to be some way to hide it from the killer.

That's definitely a possibility. He fell over when Bruno took off the door, so we don't know how exactly he was laying-

[He recalls where the words were when he was comparing himself to the door before: would it make more sense position-wise to be written while standing? Perhaps from behind the back?]

Yeah... if he was upright and turned towards the door... it'd make sense.

All of his wounds were at the front, so he would have had to write the message and turn around, if the killer was still in the room.

[A moment's pause, rearranging things.]

He backed towards the door, tried the knob to escape -- when it didn't work, he quickly wrote the message and fell against the door. The bullets hit him then, and that was the end of him. The killer could no longer use the door, so they would have had to use the window, or... what was your theory? Hide in the room.

I'm thinking the window would make more sense. If the killer hid in the room, Jack and I would have found them when we searched it.

I don't think it'd be difficult for someone to get out that way either. If the rooms were on another floor then...

Yeah... Plus, if Takashi could unlock the door from the outside somehow, wouldn't someone be able to lock it from the outside too?

Jud. I think it'd be possible to wiggle them enough for the latch to work.

That's why I think the killer pushed their way in. He wasn't shot in the back, right? So the killer might have shoved the door open, which knocked him down.

[ Waving her over. ]

Okay, you're the killer and I'm Good- I'm Riku.

[She goes over willingly enough. This is silly, but she doesn't really have an opinion on roleplay either way.]

You're saying that the killer would have to be about Riku's size.

[Which she is now, but if Jack wants someone to throw Riku around, then in real life? He'd need another musclebound jock or something. Hm.]

{ Yeah that's a hm, too. ] Just someone who could push his weight or knock him down, you know? If you force the door open, which pushes me back...

[ Jack is going to over act it and fall backwards on his ass. And then he'll try to scoot back with one hand. ]

This is about where you could shoot me if Riku was going towards the middle of the room?

Perhaps if Riku was injured. When is this sequence of events? If I am trying to force my way inside while Riku has the door and not yet any injuries, then he has the advantage.
