After a very, very long six weeks, it has finally come. The last time everyone will need to trudge up those stairs and meet in the master suite. It's do or die time, and hopefully everyone knows what needs to be done by now.

As soon as the guests walk into the room, they will be able to smell the food that the chef has provided: duck l'orange, served up on a nice platter. Eat up everyone!

There are a few unexpected guests this time. A large group of the rats is here, and they show up in a swarm as they carry Gabe into the room, much like how they had carted him off to the Child Daycare last night. Once he is deposited in the room, Gabe will also stand up and remain there, crossing his arm and looking a bit standoffish.

They're not the only unexpected faces around here, though...

My doctor, Moira. Long story short, she's from my world and has been helping me maintain this body for several years, even before either of us ended up in this world. We tried to do something to help me stay at my peak physically, and it made this happen.

[He jabs a thumb at the trails of smoke wafting off of him.]

I don't usually tell people about my personal problems. I'm an adult, I can handle shit on my own.

[resortghosts]

[Since Gabe can see them, he can notice a certain pink-haired researcher sitting nearby let out a bark of laughter at that. "BAAAhahaha! Yeah. Right."]

[While another ghost in yellow is reaching over to try to dope-slap Reyes]

[He is flipping off the ghost.]

[the bug pinches him in return]

Bullshit. You murdered Ichigo because of a misunderstanding, and then had two-thirds of us murdered out of stubbornness. Besides, you should ask for help when you need it. Otherwise, it looks like you're already doing a good job of rotting your own soul.

[stepsinshadows]

It's fine! Everything that's happened so far, it can be fixed! You'll get bodies again, you all go back to the Foundation, and the Hotel will live on without any of us here to make it sick anymore. Everybody wins.

[He does not sound happy at all, though.]

It's fine because of us. Not because of you. The only thing you did to help was leave, after we came and got you. We worked together. We tried for you, even when you didn't deserve it.

If you want the credit for it, then go ahead and take it! The point is, things will be fine.

[justfists]

I don't want credit for anything. I want this hell to be over, I want to know I can trust you. And more importantly, I want to know that whatever punishment we give you, you'll actually take to heart instead of as an excuse to learn nothing. We shouldn't be assigning any punishment to you, honestly. You should be trying to figure out how to make it up to us, even if it's never fine again.

[stepsinshadows]

One: that death-game wasn't my fault, so don't go blaming me for that.

Two: whatever is waiting for me back at that Foundation is probably going to be punishment anyway. They're not going to let this-

[He waves his hand around quickly, and the movements are surrounded by bits of smoke.]

Do you really think that the Hotel's attempt at chemotherapy... caused by the inflammation in its brain... Was completely unrelated to you?

[and yet another ghost is trying to smack Gabe on the shoulder to get his attention, and then flap their hand towards another ghost-- this ghost specifically]
