Everyone's time is running out - but on friday, the lights return back to normal light, and the rats squeak loudly, clawing at the plastic of their little closed off areas.

Long story short, it's helping me right now, as weird as that might sound. That psycho doc finally did something right.

[He starts to say 'no' to everyone's request to leave, but then he stops. And he looks at the girls for a while longer. The gears seem to be turning in his head as he considers a few things, and then finally:]

You know what? Fine. I'm tired of everyone bugging- bothering me about that, and if you three managed to get in here then I'll need to escort you out anyway. So fine. Let's go.

She stops laughing when Cinque goes up to him, though, looking unhappy about it for a second before she sighs to herself and gets to what can only be described as slightly aggressive hovering. The ghost friends do make her feel better though.]

[He's listening to the invisible ghosts for a moment, because they're saying something to him, but then he speaks in return to them.]

[Though when Cinque offers her hand, he holds up one of his own to wave her off.]

Probably a bad idea right now, kid. I'll walk out on my own.

[He'll leave the hand-holding for Aoi to do, since she's right next to Cinque and seems to care about her a lot.

But yes they get to walk out of the brain, and interestingly enough Gabe seems to know the way out! Dum de dum, they can bypass memories since he's not going to get stuck in those.

But when they get to the hatch, Gabe will go ahead and go up first, but as soon as he reaches the top he lets out a yelp of surprise and is dragged out of the trapdoor.]

She will take Aoi's hand instead. She really has been dealing with quite a bit of stress thanks to her during this outing.

Everything is going SUPER GREAT and all. The way back seems even faster and everything seems like it's getting better. That is until that happens...

Anyway, the walk over was nice and relaxing and maybe a bit too relaxed? This is definitely not the outings they were talking about doing but she’ll take it for the time it’s available, handholding and all. But of course they come to the trap door and there he goes. Not sure if that counts as a reverse yeet or what but y’all really gonna make her D-board back out the way she came in, huh.

Since Cinque is holding on to her she’s free to D-board up with, but Aoi is swooping up to the trap door to see what the hell just happened.]
