Even though there's no guilty party left alive, The Lady ushers you all upstairs anyway. She looks...odd, her eyes glazed over in an odd manner, her motions a bit sharper than normal.

There's still the box, but for some reason it feels...ominous...?

And though she says nothing, music begins to play in the room...

[There's a mildly distressed noise and Tsumugi steps in front of Roxas to try and block the sight of Snake becoming bbq. Her hand gravitates to the side of her skirt, the feeling of a certain weapon underneath bringing some semblance of comfort.]

[ That is actually kind of mildly helpful, so he doesn't do something like sneak a peek anyway, thanks Tsumugi. ]

[ His brow tenses briefly as he looks at her. His voice is quiet. ]

[ . . . . . . come on, you can at least manage this, Vanitas. ]

It'll be over soon...

[ ... Just puts a hand on his upper arm. He's actually tensing up the tiniest bit, but... still watching. ]

[ Roxas goes to move after that touch shifting so one of his hands rests on the hand Vanitas had lain there. And if he had to shift much closer to Vanitas to do it, he so did. ]

[ That closer shift is fine by him. He is going to let his thumb shift to ghost over the back of Roxas' hand. ]

[ Time to lean against him then? ]

[ He definitely won't stop it... and his hand will slowly slide to rest against Roxas' upper back. ]

[ Throughout this chaos...at least he has this, and that's not selfish is it? To seek comfort in the middle of this chaos with a loved one? So for a minute, he closes his eyes, cherishing this moment. ]

[ It's still kind of weird, to him - having anything like this and bringing someone positive emotions. Weird, but... maybe trying to keep it wouldn't be such a bad thing. ]

[She's too close to the firebox to be able to help, but she glances back at him after she's wiped her eyes and had a moment to figure out what to do with Phil. They've both fought with Snake. She... can't get it completely, because she's not him, but she still...

This is the worst.]

[ Bonds forged in fire and iron are never forgotten, ones that aren't easily severed despite the events that follow - or something like that.

Roxas catches her glance with a sorrowful one, though perhaps a bit late since he was focused on trying not to accidentally look at the flames' prison (Tsumugi getting in the way helped with blocking the sight for the most part at least.) ]
