[Something just snapped. He had been so good about controlling his emotions for the last few weeks, but this was the link in the chain that broke.

It felt like the air pressure around him change - the more experienced combatants will recognize the palatable aura coming from him as a desire to kill as Ryoga suddenly pounces at Kohaku, teeth bared in a snarl that made his canines look like fangs.

His fist was raised, and from the way he tenses, he is not holding back his strength]

[ GETS UP FROM NEXT TO KOHAKU TO HEAD TO THE BATHROOM... ]

[ Kohaku's never avoided a fight with a human and he's not going to start running away now. He catches Ryoga's fist in his hand, though the force of the impact catches him entirely off-guard and he stumbles backwards against some furniture.

His hand aches. A lot.

So time for bigger guns-- or well, a knife in this case, in the hand that doesn't hurt.

Kohaku is fast and he's going to try and point this at Ryoga's throat. Does he succeed? ]

[His chest heaves, unaware of anything but the pinpoint focus of his ire, all the grief, rage and despair he felt was coming out now like a genie, refusing to be bottled up again. He felt the pricking of the knife against his throat, but undeterred, Ryoga goes to grip Kohaku by his collar to lift and bodily toss him.

[ comes back and TOSSES A HOTEL ICE BUCKET FULL OF COLD WATER ON HIM ]

[The water had an amazing dual effect - as mist rose up and cover his change, he drops to the floor, unable to inflict damage. And on top of that, it snapped him out of the mind fogging rage, his eyes widening in shock as he tries to process what happened.]

[ There's several things going on - Ryoga is undeterred by threat to his life, so Kohaku is moving in to actually stab, but--- then he's being lifted and tossed, which is extremely unexpected.

He's never fought an enemy like Ryoga before and this is a bad place to learn. While he gets yeeted away, he tries to throw the knife to still catch his opponent except... his opponent is a tiny pig now, so the knife just lands in the wall. Had that hit Ryoga, it'd probably have hurt a lot.

Kohaku meanwhile just lands in some furniture, extremely gracelessly. ]

[The Lady suddenly teleports in front of Kohaku, and stabs him in the shoulder.

No damaging resort property.]

[ Normally he'd try to shoot her, but luckily for Kohaku he is just... too perplexed.

And also ouch, this hurts a lot. Time to grab his shoulder and double over in pain. ]

[ Even after all of that...even with Kohaku saying those things, Roxas is going to come over nearby to toss a heal in his direction. Especially since he technically didn't start the fight? ]

[ That definitely helps lessen the problem. Though Kohaku isn't too happy about Roxas hanging with Cinque here, he gets a grin. ]

[At some point, she's just materialized her whip and is holding it at the ready. This isn't going to be a peaceful trial by any means, and while she has no plans to use it -- her hands have tightened on it in the midst of that particular scuffle.
