[It is well into the evening on Sunday by the time a strange message pops up on everyone's tablets. It's from an unknown sender, with only a little skull icon to identify himself by.

And this new person has quite a bit to say.]

Well I'm not really sure what the fuck just happened, but that dog bastard is gone so I'm going to assume it went well. Good job, it only took you three weeks to finally make some progress here.

Not that I'm blaming most of you for the complete failures of the previous weeks, all the adults who are supposed to be wrangling the rest of you are too busy wrangling each other's dicks. I expected the love-dodecagon smoochfest from the teenagers, but I expected better of the rest of you. Seriously, priorities? Have you heard of them before?

Anyway, I'm sure you have questions, and I'm in a good mood tonight since you finally got something done. So ask away. I'll be around, until you get too annoying.

I'll ask the obvious, then: What are you trying to accomplish here? You said that we're here to get rid of the ghosts, and I assume that means the monsters, but that doesn't seem to be what you're trying to do?

It's a really long story that I don't really feel like telling again, but here's the TL;DR version:

Ghosts? Bad. Ghosts out in the world? Worse. Kill the ghosts, they're effectively 'contained', and we all get to go home.

What's the connection between the Resort and the ghosts?

[There has to be one if eliminating the ghosts means we can leave.]

...We heard from other "guests" that the ghosts don't normally target people from other dimensions -- in other words, us. So the situation right now is something that shouldn't happen normally, if I'm understanding correctly?

Yeah, it sounds about right. They ignored Kurosaki and I for the first few weeks

I mean, I did kill Kurosaki, but I don't think they were reacting to that.

No, they were starting to get weird, but they got REALLY weird after that.

And nothing strange happened before they started to get weird?

I want you to think about that question you just asked, and why it's absolutely baffling.

Guests come and go all the time. If I had to guess, I would say a guest came in and started mucking about with things.

If my presence here made it worse, then alright. But I wasn't the catalyst for the change.

Then eliminating all the ghosts might not actually resolve things. If you weren't the catalyst for the change, we need to find out what was. If whatever it is affects other guests, the situation won't be any different from what it is right now.

Well, we'll see what we can find from over here, too.

he's right. the barghest wanted to take his body, just like it had taken mine. i don't know what the doppelgänger and jorogumo wanted, but i think it's safe to say he's correct there too. and you should all be careful.
