The wakeup is familiar - yet not any less nerve-wracking. Though you have survived the night, the knowledge that the Mafia - the monsters - have killed is ringing loudly in your mind.

The hotel speakers crackle to life just like before, drawing your attention and startling you. Heart racing, you listen to the announcement...

...And there seems to be ominous music in the halls...

[she glares a little ruefully at the spider lillies...]

Um, Anthy, do you know where the watering cans are in here? I think we have to get this wet, don’t we?

Yes, just a minute...

[ She knows where pretty much everything is in here by now, so she's back from the supply shelf with two filled watering cans in less than a minute. ]

[ Hands one over... guess it's synchronized watering time. ]

[she takes a watering can and kind of hesitates before beginning to pour water on the golden orb...]

[It softens, unravelling.

A hand, small and shriveled, falls out. And as the water softens the silk up more, the person who's there is slowly but surely revealed....

Her eyes are closed and her cheeks are sunken in, but there's no mistaking this person upon sight.

Himeko Inaba is dead.]

[ Welp. Stops watering. ]

[...she bites her lip a bit after she lets that out...]

Well... we can fix it. We can definitely fix this...

Well, like Ichigo was saying, right? We just... have to make sure we get out of this. That’s all.

I'm not really sure what we're supposed to do now. I never found one of the bodies before.

Um... maybe there’s evidence we didn’t see because we were just looking at Inaba? Let’s look around a little bit harder.

[Is there anything else amiss? Either about the body or the room.]

[Nothing is amiss with the room, though Inaba is in her pajamas. There are two marks on her neck - one that seems to be a bite mark, gauging by the discoloration of the skin around it, and the other which is akin to a hole you would put a straw in.

Hm.]

[ Like this kind of straw hole?? ]

[Kind of? Just like 'man, I sure do think all her soft, gooey insides got slorped out of that hole.

There's also no signs of a struggle.]
