The wakeup is familiar - yet not any less nerve-wracking. Though you have survived the night, the knowledge that the Mafia - the monsters - have killed is ringing loudly in your mind.

The hotel speakers crackle to life just like before, drawing your attention and startling you. Heart racing, you listen to the announcement...

...And there seems to be ominous music in the halls...

[and he's gonna go run to the kitchens and grab some water again.

When he returns, with two buckets, he gives one and a nod to Vanitas.

Ready? Time to splash a spiderpod.]

[ He nods. Time to splash, he guesses! ]

[As the ball is splashed, the silk loosens, and unravels.

Bloody water drips out as the water mixes with the blood contained in the ball, and, eventually, a body is revealed.

It could almost look like he fell asleep, if it weren't for the blood, and the fact that his eyes stare half open at the nothingness above them. But there's no mistaking who this is - the bright, short hair would instantly tell them, if nothing else.

Shirou Emiya is dead.]

[Snake begins to call out, but the damage is already done as the pod opens.

God, that's so much blood.

...Any clue to where its coming from?]

[ He blinks at the words, but... Yeah. He's going to be looking, and there's no flinching as he sees it. If anything, something kind of deadens in his eyes and in his expression.

Vanitas will also be looking to see if there's a clue as to where it's coming from. ]

[It's pretty obviously the wounds on his body. One is lethal, and the other is decidedly less.

Yet, despite being wrapped up in the silk, shirou's body isn't shriveled. The red is bright against the snow still in the courtyard, and if he turns shirou over, he'll see scars from lightning on his back, along with singed skin.]

[Well.

Lets check out those wounds first, I guess. Where are they? What do they look like? Except...nasty.]

[One hit him in the heart, and the other in the abdominal cavity. They look like sword wounds, and actually look slightly singed.]

[hrnnrhghghh singed, huh?

If his body isn't shriveled...well, Snake's checking for bite marks anyway, just to rule it out.]

[There are no bite marks.

The snow around the area has been too badly scuffed up to get any footprints out of.]
