INVESTIGATION

The wakeup is familiar - yet not any less nerve-wracking. Though you have survived the night, the knowledge that the Mafia - the monsters - have killed is ringing loudly in your mind.

The hotel speakers crackle to life just like before, drawing your attention and startling you. Heart racing, you listen to the announcement...

...And there seems to be ominous music in the halls...

Did... that say bodies?

[There's an extremely glittery Blue Angel standing stock-still in this hallway with her arms wrapped around herself and looking uneasy and wide awake.]

[immediately after the announcement, someome is bolting out of his room and down the left hallway. he’s trying to make his way to the right hallway but uh]

[Well. You probably notice that your door was unlocked, and The trap that had been set has been triggered, first of all.]

[. . . he pauses at that, narrowing his gaze at the unlocked door, but. with a shake of his head, he lets Makoto investigate that before continuing to the right hallway]

[[she's got her UV light. was the trap sprung from Akira's room?]

[It Was!

What's she looking for?]

[she is looking for footprints]

[She finds....

pawprints. specifically, puppy pawprints - which lead from Akira's room to Snake's room.]

[... hm. what does she find following them? any handprints that. maybe indicates a door was opened?]

[Nothing of that sort, oddly. The Puppy somehow triggered the trap by itself?]

[PUPPY.... STILL. THIS IS... SOMETHING. She's gonna go back and check their room if there's anything else the trap may have revealed]

[Oh. Well.

there are puppy pawprints all over the room. If she turns the light on herself and akira, she'll also find those pawprints on them.]

Yep, sure did...

[ NEAT START TO THE DAY. Kohaku is also glittery though less so. ]

[She breathes an audible sigh of relief when Akira comes sprinting out and just... marches over there to put him a well-deserved, albeit brief headlock. Now he can be glittery too. :)]

[Are we okay here in the left hallway? We're good?]

Well, there are wet footprints coming from the upper part of the hallway...]

[ ...... ]

Well, someone was here.

[ Let's walk up to the footprints - wet as in water wet or wet as in other liquid wet? Also how big are they? ]

It's probably a good thing there aren't too many of us awake yet...

[They don't need a repeat of last week. Here's your daily dose of Shiroushaming! Anyway, she's going to come examine the footprints too, though she's also keeping an eye out for anything else unusual in the hallway.]

Also, they're the same size as quite a few men in the Resort.]

[ And where are they headed...? ]

[Towards the lobby.

They seem to have come from the pool area.]

Let's go see where these lead before they dry.

[Unfortunately, when you get there, The trail has dried.

Though there seems to be a partial heading towards Owain's room...]

... Somebody's in that room, aren't they?

[It would be ideal if it was an empty room, but they're never that lucky, are they? Are the footprints completely the same, and it's still water...? Does Owain's room look normal.]
