They know his name.

The name of the one responsible for everything.

So, is it any wonder that they're all drawn, as if pushed, prodded, led.... to a door that now exists directly under the waterfall's stream?

It is a plain, white door, and yet....

Going in makes you feel as if there will be no turning back.]

By the time we found him, he had already lost much of what made him "himself" already. The fragments of the Abyss affected him, destroying what he once was, and made him into something akin to a parody of himself.

When we purified him, and removed the abyss's corruption from him... He became himself again. Not what the Abyss transformed him into, but his original self.

Sometimes, the best one can hope for is to be able to die as yourself. That is something my own world has taught me.

I do believe he was at peace in his final moments, yes. His final request also means... That he saw some sign of hope within us. In those final few moments, he saw a world where his family could be happy and free.

Though of course, we still have to do our part to make that happen. This is not over yet, after all.
