THE FINAL â($kp∟G^Ä←âKò♦↑A¶{ê5↕FâMxX=

[The day dawns, one final time.

There's still silence, but there is a change in the world around them.

They know....if not everything, than enough.

They know his name.

The name of the one responsible for everything.

So, is it any wonder that they're all drawn, as if pushed, prodded, led.... to a door that now exists directly under the waterfall's stream?

It is a plain, white door, and yet....

Going in makes you feel as if there will be no turning back.]

He'll let out a small laugh. It's short, and just kind of...not there. ]

What are you saying? That we would be repeating what it desired?

You do realize that we'd have to vote either way. So in the end, it's still a vote.

Only this time... we've the chance to end it. For good.

How many times have we thought that?

[ After everything. After the Singularity, after the Winchester House, and even up until now, he's kept it together. He's always been able to do what needed to be done, and push forward, no matter the difficulty, even when he questioned the point of it, even when he felt like simply having a fit, and taking it out on everyone else.

He had the determination to move forward. Out of stubbornness, out of spite.

Usually it's helped that thought he's had frustration with this group, his goals had ultimately aligned.

But, now...

That's changed.

It's almost like something's about to give. His teeth grit, and his fingers clench tightly around his weapon. ]

It will all end if we kill it. Before we didn't know who was truly responsible for it, and now...we know. Why not put an end to it for sure? Why...

Why do you persist in this nonsense about keeping it alive?! It's such an easy answer!

WE SHOULD KILL IT AND BE DONE WITH IT!

Do you usually do what's easiest? ...and we're talking about 'him'. Not an it. A person who got desperate and saw too much and went mad, not... not a knot of pure malice, this time.

On a daily basis. [ If we want to get technical here. ] And I'll call it whatever I wish.

Enough. This isn't a situation where only so many people will be at the mercy of it if this unfurls again. The rest you fools are putting everything at risk simply because you believe such a piece of trash can be saved.

Not everything and everyone can be saved. Especially not something like THIS!

And here is where I remind you that a certain creature was behind the fact you all needed to be rescued in the first place. Or have you forgotten about that?!

Yes. He did to Solomon and us what Solomon accidentally did to his entire race. But all of us were saved; even Zabuza-san. Even Hikage-san. Even Subete-san. Even the ones who brutally murdered each other.

...As you recall, they weren't the ones responsible for starting a myriad death games. Though they had acted, whose fault do you believe that was? They bore some responsibility but in the end, most of it remained for what started this mess, and therefore was the reason they deserved saving at all.

Try not compare everyone else to an entity who submerged everyone in COUNTLESS death games for its personal enjoyment. It's utterly inane and insulting.

[ Even if those three murdered and caused trouble for it, that's not something he would think they deserved. ]

Isn't that kind of...

[She searches for the right word.]

Kind of harsh, for a person who tied themselves to the nexus of a death game that spans time and space?

[Holy Grails, man.]

[ ... He'll scoff at this. ]

The situation behind that is far too complex for you to understand and does not even compare to the problem that's being caused by this creature.

So, no. It's not 'harsh'.

Or are you trying to imply I should be fine with such a creature still remaining alive without its due punishment, despite how much suffering it caused? And how much of an insult it dealt thereby just by existing?
