THE FINAL â($kp∟G^Ä←âKò♦↑A¶{ê5↕FâMxX=
[The day dawns, one final time.
There's still silence, but there is a change in the world around them.
They know....if not everything, than enough.
They know his name.
The name of the one responsible for everything.
So, is it any wonder that they're all drawn, as if pushed, prodded, led.... to a door that now exists directly under the waterfall's stream?
It is a plain, white door, and yet....
Going in makes you feel as if there will be no turning back.]

he smiles. ]
You are so kind. Far more than I was. Am. So if the majority wishes to SAVE then... I will follow suit.

The idea of losing yourself after everything - but, not a single being is irredeemable. I would not have gotten to this point if I didn't believe that someone couldn't repent.
[She shakes her head.]
I can't call myself kind. I just simply can't see things ending well if we killed him. What... kind of happy ending would that be, if we started with death, only to end with death?

[ he agrees with nanaka. as long as he is contained and incapable of doing more harm, then it is fine.
but they must restore what has been lost. ]
I guess it's been a long time since I've thought about happy endings.

[...Karen takes her hand.
She's pretty sure there aren't any words she can say that will make Nanaka sure this is the right decision, but maybe she could use some general good vibes.]

Is it really okay to do this...? But... She'll trust everyone's decision. For now.]

[ Are they ready to press an option? ]

I don't agree.
I don't get how you can spare him so easily after he's done all'a this shit, guys. Like, come on, what universe are you livin' in? How many of us did he traumatize, how many of us did he break down into tiny little pieces, through the years? And....he doesn't have to die? 'Oh, that's okay, we'll bring you back because you lost your family and went nutty and dove off the deep end.'
[ Marisa crosses her arms, and looks at Solomon in particular this time. ]
If that's what you're pickin'....whatever. I won't fight it if that's the majority vote. But my vote is 'he doesn't get mercy'.

I didn't watch her die, but from what I hear, she wanted to be killed. She was just that crazy. Once he's realized he's lost it all, I think he'll want that, too.
So... why give him what he wants? He can sit in the corner, and think about what he's done.

I guess. It seems risky to me to just let him be, but...
[ a sigh ]
Maybe I'm the one with the weird sense'a crime and punishment, if I'm the odd one out, here.

...Ever read Hamlet? Or see it performed?
