part 2- investgation time!

[After a little looting and coffee making, Ren heads out for the day, with some goals in mind.

First is trying to find Sans and Papyrus. He slowly walks all through the Underground, and in each area calls out... a bad skeleton joke.]

How dis the skeleton know it was about to rain? He felt it in his bones!

Anyways, as he's traveling he does poke his head into a few places. Specificly the hidden garage in the skeleton house and the Temmie Shop. But anywhere that stands out to him gets a check out- he might even grabs some of those spectra crystals and the other SOUL containers he didn't steal the first time.

Not like there's anyone to STOP him now...]

[ His jokes are in line with somebone's sense of humor, but nobody came. Only silence will greet him.

Is he checking out the garage or the hidden back room?

While the Temmie Shop will be full of Temmie Flakes. ]

[he will acquire TemFlakes.

And while he will peek in the garage to see if they have a cool car or tools he's mostly here for the hidden room.]

[ There won't be anything new about the hidden room. It'll look exactly like what it did last time.

The garage will have a dog bed, a bone, and an empty food dish. ]

Didn't Gilgamesh find a dog...?

[he'll take a look at the dog stuff to see if anything has a possible name, and take the bone to offer said doggo]

[ He won't find any names written any where, but he will find the words GUEST written across the bowl. ]

[that can't be it's name... a guest room??? dog guest room??? He looks around the room again to be sure before moving on]

[I think so buddy. Anyways, time to go back to the hidden room real fast-

1) Steal lanyard. Cuz he can.
2) Check if there were any older photos he missed due to Surprise Sans last time.
3) Look at machine again now that he's seen other weird monster tech, to see if it's familiar]

[ There won't be anything noteworthy in the photo album. There's just photos of Verdana and the boys as they grow through the years. Then just photos of Sans and Papyrus.

The machine looks faintly like a prototype of the core. ]

[Now THAT'S interesting, and once he learns what Sherlock learned he is gonna bring the more tech-savvy folks here.

For now, he heads for the last two rooms he never got to inspect- Sans and Papyrus']

[ He's already peeked inside of Sans' room. He won't find anything new there besides the bed being empty.

Papyrus' room will have a...



bright red racing car bed! There's a large area rug with a flames pattern around the edge of it. There's a table full of assorted figurines, a pirate flag, a book case full of books, a closet, a desk with a computer, and finally a box of bones. ]

... It's like a cleaner version of Futaba's room.

[A wave of nostalgia and homesickness wash over him... and as much as he hates snooping on a friend he has to be sure they got everything useful. So he steps in to investigate.

Let's poke the computer first]

[ The computer seems to be turned off at the moment. Poking at it doesn't seem to turn it back on. There doesn't seem to be any power to it either. ]

[...is it just not plugged in or is the house out of power too?]

[ There doesn't appear to by any power in the house. ]

Bet that's 'cuz the Core is running low...

[He could try and fiddle with the mini-core to get power but he doesn't wanna accidentally melt himself!! So let's look at the closet for now]

[ He will find a skeleton in the closet- just kidding. He will find a skeleton's clothes inside all neatly hung. ]

[... okay no seriously that's not unexpected... he already kinda guessed Papyrus wouldn't have Big Secrets. Let's poke the bones though, are they the same as the one for the dog?]

[ Some seem to be longer, and some seem to be short, but basically they are all the same ]

[So nothing too exciting.

He probably should check the books too but... he has a feeling it won't lead to much now. SO instead he just lays on the rub and stares at the ceiling, feeling like garbage for a bit]
