It's strange. We actually found what seemed like a special machine just for that.

Did you? I wonder if that might be what scrambled them in the first place.

It could be. I'm not sure what else would do it. Then again, I'm not sure where these come from in the first place. Or how we can put physical objects into a battle menu to begin with.

Honestly, I feel like it might be a bit beyond me anyway. I can understand concepts like someone seeing this all from the perspective of a video game, but the details...

Perhaps looking at it like it's a video game isn't so bad after all.

[She will go in and capslock the two commands now, making them into SECURE and CONTAIN.]

That should do it for those. Hopefully they're useful in battle.

Hm. The problem is, if we went at this the way I play video games, we'd still just be solving murders.

It was. I think it ended up in the Underground somehow, and the monsters here didn't know what to do with it. So they threw it away.
