Outside. Chemicals can have strong smells that can make it difficult for others. Not that I particularly care about the other mongrels in here but they'll complain and it'll be annoying.

[ He went to grab more protective gear for the both of them and headed outside where he will wait for Karen. ]

With some care and steady hands - he pours out a vial of just the gunk remover, and then more solutions of various levels of concentration and corrosive power]

[It seems like a weird and possibly dangerous approach, but using a washcloth or something doesn't really seem like a viable option.]

Generally, that's the idea with the more caustic agents is to spray or pour on - and let it set before we wipe it off.
