THE FINAL MINGLE
Monday comes.
There's no one here. The Silence is....though you don't remember any other monsters, deep down inside of you, you know this is wrong.
Everything is open to you, and no one will complain. You can do whatever you want, now.
....somehow, it feels...awful.
Somehow, you know everything will come to an end...this week.

[ So he supposed maybe they could use it. He'll show her the bottle with the label.
...Probably not usable in here, though, and they'd probably need to head out like Sherlock did. ]

[She pulls out the button.]
We might as well try it right away. Since it starts with a lowercase letter, we'll probably have to come back here anyway.

[ He went to grab more protective gear for the both of them and headed outside where he will wait for Karen. ]

Good, it looks like you're almost finished setting up.
She has that button her and with this [ He'll hold up that tough chemical bottle ] I thought it'd be good to add to your little...chemistry lesson by making sure it was used on it.

[But for now, it's time to set the button down and put on some protective equipment.]
no subject
[ He's not in his armor right now so he'll really need to put on some equipment. Which he'll do now ]

With some care and steady hands - he pours out a vial of just the gunk remover, and then more solutions of various levels of concentration and corrosive power]
There we go, that should give us plenty to work with...

[It seems like a weird and possibly dangerous approach, but using a washcloth or something doesn't really seem like a viable option.]

Generally, that's the idea with the more caustic agents is to spray or pour on - and let it set before we wipe it off.
[And for that - that's what tongs are for]
no subject
I imagine we won't have to wait too long for it to set, will we?
no subject
[Let's start with unadulterated gunk remover once it's on the ground]
no subject
However, there's still quite a bit left on the button that seems dried and encrusted on.]
no subject
[Why did she expect any differently?]
We might as well try something stronger.
no subject
[ Might as well nuke it at this point, as far as he was concerned. ]
no subject
[Not nuking, but he'll start with a mild solution of the corrosive chemicals first, and slowly increase the ratios until they get results]

What they're left with is....
'iCannot']
no subject
.....
Wait. That C - it's an anagram.
no subject
[She makes sort of a "rearranging things with her finger" gesture.]
"Contain." Because of course it is.
[She cannot either, little button.]
no subject
[Time to carefully clean the button of any lingering chemicals, wouldn't want anyone to get burns holding it.]
no subject
[She'll wait for him to finish before she picks the button back up.
...and she'll keep the protective gear on for now, just in case.]

[ Well, he's got nothing else to say here because he's friendly like that, but he did go back inside of that door. ]
