Then, if we are not going to cheat, we need to have something to supply things. I myself have placed my vote as an entity, but I feel that for the best results, we need to identify who was used as a tool.

As far as that goes, we have two primary leads: Atsushi's fingers, as well as the wet clothes.

We know from previous experience that the murder method generally reflects the body's methodology, so the removal of the fingers may be a clue to lead us to a proper answer. As for the clothes... Well, that will require a clothing check.

Yeah, the fingers are clearly a message of some sort. So it's likely someone that would think to do that- they did it after he was dead, so it wasn't torture. It was a trophy, maybe?
