[As the net untangles, Atsushi's SOUL floats up, apparently having hidden inside of it.

It's clear from the way his eyes look that he died from drowning - with little notes of a fall having happened.

The fingers were clearly cut off by something, and some of his hair has been hacked off crudely.]

[Good, it's still there. Time to fetch someone to get a soul container, but before that...

can he tell how long the drop was?, and examining the fingers, based on cuts on the flesh and any scrapes on the remaining finger bones.... What kind of object made these cuts?

And he will look at the cut strands of hair for a trace of Blood to discern the order of cutting if the water didn't wash away the evidence, as well as examine his clothes, fibers, blood... any contact traces?]
