[CONTINUE + 4] Week 1 || Act: mingle

Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, though now there's far, far less of them.

Is time running out for the mission? How many more loops do you have?

...You feel as if something is watching you when you're not looking.

[ Gilgamesh knew he wouldn't be able to convince him to leave. Part of him liked that he was so stubborn, while another part wished he'd just give in, and leave already.

But right now, those things seemed so small, compared to how the other viewed himself. ]

'Something' isn't a suitable way to refer to yourself in the slightest. Though I've always known you would hardly be so eager to extricate yourself from such an organization, I wonder if I should take such words seriously if you can't even properly refer to yourself as a person in the first place.

I have to agree with Gilgamesh-san in this case. 'Something' is fundamentally still referring to yourself as an object. Even if one cannot be considered human, that hardly changes their personhood. It would perhaps be a different issue if you became something like a witch, but that is hardly the case for you.

...

[ well, you've both stunned him into silence for a quick second, green eyes blinking back in surprise.

then, he smiles sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. ]

Ahaha...you're both right, I think. I apologize, it's been a long time since I've seen myself as anything or anyone else that isn't a tool. Don't listen to me.
