[CONTINUE + 4] Week 1 || Act: mingle

Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, though now there's far, far less of them.
Is time running out for the mission? How many more loops do you have?
...You feel as if something is watching you when you're not looking.

[She huffs a little.] Besides, I do personally think that someone who's "died" before should be the victim since it'd catch them off guard.
Which would mean that there wouldn't be that many options to choose from, right?
no subject
There's no way that guy would let a kid like you risk themselves, you know.

[Her words are stern and serious, matched with the determined gleam in her eyes.]
cw: deathseeking? suicidal? idk man it's Dazai
I don't think of you as a child in the sense that you're very capable.
But I do think of you as a child if you're offering yourself up because you think you should have been the only one dead this whole time. Because when it comes to things of that nature, I am far more experienced.

It isn't the only reason I'm volunteering.

Don't be so hypocritical that you would tell someone like me something similar but then do it yourself. It's a bad example for others and not very mature of you, besides.
no subject
After all, it's not as if I wanted to die in the first place, and I don't do things to simply seek death.
[There's more to it, but she isn't... outright saying those reasons.]

Why not Ren-kun, then? He is a thief. He knows quite a number of tricks when it comes to subterfuge, I imagine. Why someone like you and not someone like him?
no subject
[Her voice grows awfully quiet.]
But it's because Ren's a thief that he'd be more useful on the 'living' side, right?

[This is Himeko just staring at Dazai dead in the eye with A Look.]

I'll say this in the most blunt way possible, in hypotheticals, given that I don't plan on dying - on really dying: if they want everyone to kill it, wouldn't it be for the best to get rid of the one person who would want to stand in the way for it?
It gives way to a motive.

[Winchester experience speaking, honestly.]
There's every chance that this sort of ploy, which would also rely on possibly Red manipulating things in the background, could result in your erasure.
no subject
... maybe. But I was already willing to risk a lot.
no subject
He's already seen you dead once, you know.

[She corrects, a little solemnly.]
I guess you could say I'm being a little selfish. But then again - I also don't know what his stance is regarding the entity, either.
[Does he want it dead? Or will he agree with her? She doesn't know. She hasn't had the chance to ask.
In fact, she can't help but question the fact that she hasn't gotten the chance to speak to him all that much, this time around. And that thought terrifies her.]

Aiya... that's making a lot of assumptions. I think faking a death might not work here, especially if it's aware of us.
no subject
Maybe it is.
But that all depends on just how aware... we have some specifics, but not all of them.
