[CONTINUE + 4] INTRO

[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.
Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!
...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.
Welcome to the Underground.
...Again. The loop happened again, and you're here. Everything is the same.
Someone who was dead is alive again.
The trial...it was...you remember only up until Gilgamesh was FOUGHT against, and then...nothing.
You feel you shouldn't try to remember anything beyond that.
Not only that, But more monster names have faded from your memory.
...When will this end?]

[Well, this is awkward. I have been spending the past few weeks trying to get someone that was already on our side on our side.]

[Shhh nobody say that Undyne likes to play piano anyway.]

[Apparently I'm too much of a normy to belong to this team, though.]
On that topic... I was sure I had forgotten that name after the latest reset, but I remember it clearly in here for some reason. Is that not strange?

Though I had to abandon that identity to protect myself from the memory erasure. I would not be surprised if her name and memory fade before too long.

Well, obviously. This is a land meant for these Monsters, not for us.
However, those who had decided to come and embark on this journey all have their place in all of this. Even if they are mongrels.

I wonder if we really do have a place in all of this. What we have uncovered so far is that apparently, rushing in and doing something dangerous without any proper planning or preparation is the correct answer here, which leaves little place for those whose primary focus is planning and preparation. If anything, such a person is simply getting in the way of this group.

He wouldn't be able to believe already three competent people in their group voiced that they felt useless if it wasn't for the fact they were put through the wringer. And the cost (for now) had been their memories, even with a glimmer of some success. ]
Do we know that as a fact?
It is true that this group of fools and mongrels are lacking. The Foundation has always been a mess, quite filled with leaders who are incompetent in their leadership, and improvement has been unbearably slow. Not to mention the disaster of organization and communication, as even exemplified now in this meeting.
[ He knew it be true, he was just sick and tired of wasting his breath saying it. ]
That aside, if simply 'rushing in without planning' always delivered perfect results on this journey, we'd have defeated the enemy by now. With our memories at a loss, we cannot yet say that this was the result of the lack of such things. Bear in mind with a rapidly changing situation it is difficult to account or plan for all outcomes.
That being said, we need those who won't foolishly lose themselves in their own heads due to their foolishness. Those who are willing to evaluate the situation carefully where others wouldn't; those who won't fall in line with others when it's time to do what must be done.
If we did not have King Solomon who helped organize the meetings, it's likely you and those other mongrels would never be able to try to get it together so that there's a chance we can all 'work together'. If you hadn't spoken up a long while ago requesting for someone to accompany the 'guard', perhaps it would not have crossed my mind to volunteer at that time, though I had already planned during our second trial to act anyway. That timing based on that rational planning and 'preparation' gave us a window.
So to me when you speak as if you and those like yourself are 'getting in the way of this group', it's simply idiocy at work. If you do not acknowledge you have value, you have only yourself to blame, even if they so happen to be inferior to you in their judgment and their actions.

...I understand what you are saying. What you said is correct, even if as always, the way you say it is terrible.
Nonetheless... I am at my limit. After three weeks, I thought I had finally set up a plan, a way we could protect the monsters and the people at the same time. Every week we came a bit closer to success, so I thought for certain that...
I thought for certain that if we could get Undyne-san on our side...
[...Ah. That's what this was really about, wasn't it? After three weeks, she had concluded that Undyne was someone that could be counted on. Someone who was indispensable to achieving their goals. That was her mistake, she broke her cardinal rule. She trusted someone. Even though she knew full well that she could not even trust herself. And all of that trust was a waste of time that could have been spent working on other things.]
...I will recover. But for now, I need to rethink things.

Even if that's not what he's saying. The smirk faded soon enough, though. ]
...Sometimes even the most well-thought out plan can unravel with a single thread.
[ Gilgamesh knew this from experience in the Winchester House when he was constantly putting together plans and they seemed so well constructed until most of them had fallen apart at its seams due to an unpredictable element.
Well, he'll watch her for a moment, and then fold his arms. ]
Of course you do. I anticipate you will recover sooner rather than later, and be at it once more; it's how you've always been...resourceful when it counts. You share this quality with a few others.
To that end, I will not tolerate any of us falling here due to even something like an obvious failure to a long-term goal or misconceived personal failings. We've overcome failures before, and it will be soon time to start our actions and efforts anew so that we can bring a permanent end to our enemy.
[ With that, he'll turn his attention elsewhere. ]
