Like Ren said, it's like back at camp: I only ever erased people's memories when I had to, to preserve the secrecy of the mission. And while this thing has different motivations than I did back at camp, the reasons for our actions can be boiled down to the same general idea: someone saw something that could compromise the mission, so erasing everything is the safest move to keep someone from breaking containment.

You mean the camp where dozens upon dozens of SCP 6350s were sent to die continuously.

How strange we keep ending up in this situation.

As a full disclosure, I was in charge of that camp for seven years. Those deaths are my responsibility. It wasn't until that seventh group- the one that some of those here are from- that the cycle was broken.

The point of that camp was to keep an SCP--Sol, I think it was?--contained, wasn't it?

So the question here: what is the point of this particular scenario? Each person killed so far has had a different color.

We're now down to Cyan and Purple.

If we keep playing its game, we keep feeding it. So we need to stop playing somehow, but not in the way we last tried--correct? Close but not good enough. That still means we have anywhere between a week to two weeks to figure it out.

Yes, that was the point of camp. But that was only overcome by going against the containment procedures and trying something risky. Without risk, there can be no reward. But Risk also comes with the chance of failure.

Right now, we are treading water. It's a stalemate each time, but with each reset of the board that thing gets closer to victory. We need to look at what has happened before, evaluate our actions, and try something new.

Phrasing it like that makes it sound like we haven't been trying to get ahead of it.

Clearly our efforts went overboard enough this last time that you felt the need to actually work with us instead of separate from us.

I'm sorry. I'm used to working solo, or just with Archer. I...have never been that good at actually working cooperatively with large groups.

To me, it feels half like a dressing down for going too far and nearly doing incredible damage to ourselves and everyone.
