[Saturday dawns, bright and early again. No one comes to the Inn, but you feel compelled to go to the Core anyway.

It's as if you're forced to. As if....it's inescapable.

You make the walk past everything, until you are directly in the Core, where some kind of whitish, rainbow-gleaming liquid can be seen below.

In this area, you are led to a wider platform that is still open to the liquid before, with the handrails in place - where there are some seats around, and a familiar face waiting to speak with you.

This...for all of you, it is a familiar sight.

It is a trial location.

You are here to find the killer...and convict one of your own, in a murder that makes no sense.

But you have no choice.

You can only forge ahead....and try to find out the truth.]

He didn't say it e-exactly like that, but that's what he said.

...I have no doubt that he asked if you considered therapy, at least. I am fairly certain he believes all of us need it, himself included.

So the issue is that you interpreted it negatively, even if it was not necessarily intended as such?

In the first place, why do you believe it was intended as mockery?

Are you an idiot? You may as well ask "Why do you think all those bullies chanting your name and pushing you in the mud and throwing your things in the trash were just trying to mock you?"

...Why would you not be able to? There are therapists in the Foundation, though admittedly they are rather difficult to find.

If he didn't literally say that, then I doubt that was what he actually meant, yanno? He's the sorta person who says whatever stuff comes to mind, right?

That's what she means by just saying whatever comes to mind. He probably hadn't thought about it.

I'm sayin' this, right now, with real good intentions to ya--I'm not bein' mean, I swear it.

But ya really tend to read too much into people's words. Maybe it's the writer in you...? Sometimes, people just say stuff, and that's it. There's no real deeper meaning than 'hey, Fukawa, I like you and I wish you had a better lot in life.'
