[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.

Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!

...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.

Welcome to the Underground.

...Again. The loop happened again, and you're here. Everything is the same.

Someone who was dead is alive again.

...The man, who's name you forgot...You've just forgotten almost everything about him. Anything he did, or said....there's just a person-shaped hole in your memory now.

You know someone was there, and that he was important. But....

Not only that, But more monster names have faded from your memory.

Yes, he did. There were various reasons for it, of course. Still, as long as we are here, we fully intend to help out around here as much as we can.

Before that however, we will likely need some lodgings. We should be able to stay in the ruins for the time being since this is rather short notice, how long would it take us to make some reservations at the Inn?

The Inn? That should be fine. Not many people stay there, since there aren't many visitors. Just go talk to the innkeeper, yeah?

Of course. Aside from that... There are some other things we should probably discuss.

One of the reasons we came here was to investigate something: On the surface, there have been some monsters that suddenly turned gray and began acting completely differently. However, after they were incapacitated, they reverted to normal, and did not have any memories of the time they were gray. The exact nature of the phenomenon is unknown, but I suspect that something may be controlling them when they are gray like that.

Part of why we were sent here was to make certain that nothing like that is happening in the Underground as well. After all, such a thing would spell disaster for this place, from what we know of the place. In addition, the former king believed that the solution to this problem may be found somewhere in the Underground.

To be blunt, the surface world is running out of time. If a solution is not found, there may be no future for any of us.
