[CONTINUE + 3] INTRO
[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.
Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!
...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.
Welcome to the Underground.
...Again. The loop happened again, and you're here. Everything is the same.
Someone who was dead is alive again.
...The man, who's name you forgot...You've just forgotten almost everything about him. Anything he did, or said....there's just a person-shaped hole in your memory now.
You know someone was there, and that he was important. But....
Not only that, But more monster names have faded from your memory.

Well, seeing so many of them be suddenly out of sorts was expected with the disappearance of ——— and so guess where his attention was going to be soon enough?
He'll be right by Solomon's side, a hand already placed on his shoulder, and then another to go to reach down to touch his cheek for a moment, before drawing that hand of his away. ]
You realize you can't afford to just simply lie here on your knees? Up with me. This will not solve anything.
[ He'll pull him to his feet if he had to. ]

solving. solving what? what can they solve when they keep losing everything? is there even anything that can be done when everyone is how they are?
perhaps it's just a sign of how worthless of a leader he is. maybe it was better when he had been that tyrant that shoved the monsters to the underground. at least that way they wouldn't feel so distraught about ---
and oh, god, frisk and asgore.

W-we need to tell them. Find proof that we've been here. Show it to whoever the hell is in charge. [ no. wait. ] The people that Ren said. Papyrus and-- and-- Sans. We need their trust. We need them to cooperate with us.

The King could feel some concern begin to creep in a little; though most of his attention was on Solomon, the morale had sufficiently been diminished greatly. Not only that, but clearly the man in front of him was struggling to pull himself together. ]
I believe having them on our side will benefit us greatly, yes. Bluntly put, we've lot a powerful ally, though all isn't lost.
If we're able to make our case, and sway them to our cause, then we'll at least stand a little better for it while we're searching for answers. Not to mention, it could be one of them knows more than they're letting on, but haven't cared at this point to lend a hand otherwise.
[ Gilgamesh's hand moved slightly to give one of Solomon's a squeeze. ]

he's not sure if there is any comfort that can be found at this moment, though, short of finding that toriel was just hiding from them. ]
I trust this team. I trust all of you. But I...
[ he's tired. ]

Though, Gilgamesh's not satisfied that he couldn't ease away the other's problems so easily. That a simple kiss or even mere words can't make their challenges seem like they were less heavy but...it's not realistic. Such were the state of things.
It's still hard to accept that. In fact, part of him didn't.
When the other said "It doesn't matter how I feel", it didn't really sit right with him either. Even after Gilgamesh had moved and done things in his own manner (which he didn't regret because the other just kneeling there wasn't an option either), the other man's words bothered him so.
He'll shift slightly to let go so his arms were encircling the other, and bringing him close to him, one hand moving so fingers could briefly and lightly run through the other's hair; he hadn't been donned in armor that trial, so it was easy to do.
Gilgamesh knew, once again, it was a small comfort. But, he couldn't help trying to do so anyway. ]
Tsk...affirming that we must move forward isn't wrong; it is what we must do. But, it'd be foolish to say simply 'it doesn't matter how you feel' either.
Though we also can't truly stop in what must be done, even I understand that it's impossible to expect you to not take a moment to recover.
[ He'll mutter to him: ]
Once we're finished with what other business is done today...expect to also spend many an hour in my embrace.

but not immediately. perhaps they all need a moment to breathe and collect themselves, before deciding what to do. even that could be considered progress, if one looked at it in that way.
he takes a deep breath, returning the golden king's embrace in one of his own. ]
I expect you to make good on that promise. Or I will be very angry.

But, there's a certain relief when he felt the other's arms around him. ]
Trust me when I say that I have every intention of making good on that promise. It would be rather foolish of me not to, after all.
[ ...Because really, it's something he's looking forward to as well. ]
