In this area, you are led to a wider platform that is still open to the liquid before, with the handrails in place - where there are some seats around, and a familiar face waiting to speak with you.

This...for all of you, it is a familiar sight.

It is a trial location.

You are here to find the killer...and convict one of your own, in a murder that makes no sense.

But you have no choice.

You can only forge ahead....and try to find out the truth.]

Level of Violence. Once anyone - a Monster or a Human - takes the life of another, they gain experience in the art of killing. This causes them to become stronger, but it is easy enough to see yourself.

Yes. Boss Monsters like myself have the ability to 'read' our opponents, and check their LV. It allows us to make informed choices when FIGHTing someone.

Then, a question. How would such a thing be affected if someone killed while being controlled by someone else?

....I don't believe I have ever heard of such a situation happening, but....I would assume that the LV would go to the controller, and not the one controlled.

...However, if you are claiming that, then I will need proof that such a thing is happening.

...That....As far as I am aware, no. It is possible to be 'reset' when one enters a new 'territory' - which is, I assume, what happened to all of you. Regardless of your deeds on the surface, you are all LV 1.

Which is why the trial must happen this way. Every Monster in the underground has been checked, and their LVs have not changed in the slightest.
