Hmph...I can't say I am a fan of modern cities all that much, but there certainly always has been more to them than the quiet settlements with thin populations.

It's certainly hard to be bored in them nonetheless, with all the various entertainment I've seen available in the larger cities, even towards the later hours.

A lot of the better parts of my youth was spent during those later hours in the city.

So I'm definitely biased there.

This place is very quiet, even without the vanishings.

Quite, and besides it being such a smaller town it may also be due to the fact that the creatures here seem more of a quiet sort, though they're certainly able to get loud and rowdy when they so wish it.
