Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your third 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with two trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

More or less. Ya used to only be able to remember her when she was standin' where ya could visually see her. When she left, ya forgot she ever existed. But more and more people are rememberin' her these days.

Three guesses why I've been thinkin' about her.

[ Especially since Koishi hated not being remembered. ]

Yeah. She--ah, her name's Koishi, she ain't too fond of bein' forgotten about all the time. I figure the same goes for anyone else.

Yeah, being forgotten is a worrying thought in itself.

[ a pause ]

She and her sister also used to live in the underground together, before she got rid of her powers, come to think of it.

[ spooky coincidence ]

The guy we were looking for...I wish I remembered what he looked like. I could sketch somethin' of him.

Really? That really does sound similar...

[yeah definitely a spooky coincidence!! what even] I was thinking the same, I was hoping that drawing would help but it seems like even that gets effected too.

[ A pause, and Marisa writes Koishi's name in neat script next to her sketch. ]

You ever hear that sayin' about people always dyin' two deaths?

[she looks in thought for moment considering that before she shakes her head] No, I haven't heard of that saying before actually.

Some author said it. That the first death is the physical one, the death of the body. And the second one is when people stop sayin' your name, when they actually forget about you.

[ ...... ]

We don't remember his name, or what he looked like, or what he did...are we gonna forget that we even came down here to get him, at one point? We can't draw him, write down anything about him, record anything.

It's the 'second death.'

[clarke listens to her explanation and she just nods at that as he realization comes to her] The second death being the name? Yeah that makes sense—

I feel like the more we go through these timeloops the more likely that's going to be unless we can stop it.

The name, yeah, but everythin' else that comes with it. If someone is dead, and no one remembers them...did they ever exist at all?

[ her frown fades into something less guarded, more tired ]

Unless we can stop it...gods, I'm tired of sittin' and pokin' around.

[ she's more of a 'barge into the bad guy's lair and laser them to the ground' type of person ]

That makes it so much worse too and with this it's being forced on us. [it was just as awful knowing that too]

Yeah, I know what you mean— it feels like we're just getting more questions than answers though about any of this. [honestly that is such a mood, marisa. clarke prefers to have a plan about these sort of things but with how many times they continue to timeloop, she only feels more restless that they can't stop it]
