[CONTINUE + 2] Week 1 || Act: mingle

Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your third 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with two trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

...How much longer will this repeat?

You didn't have high school? I don't really know anything about England at all.

[Drew saw a documentary about Sherlock Holmes once!]

Does that count?

Most of my education was tutors or private boarding schools until I was old enough to college - there really wasn't as much of a separation of ages as you see today.

In terms of getting a proper education, yes. And I had tutors that were able to deal with an impish child...

[He answers neutrally, befoe pausing, breathing in slowly before speaking]

The instructors would be considered cruel by modern standards, those who don't know how to behave properly are caned against the back of their thighs, sometimes for the simple reason as having the gall to correct them and humiliating them.

Bullying was implicitly encouraged to teach boys to 'man up' and to remind them of the proper social order.

I myself was often put in the basket in my younger years.

Teachers aren't supposed to hit kids, but they still do sometimes. Especially if they talk back to a teacher. [Or are continually disruptive and don't know how to shut up.]

And there's a lot of bullying, especially if you stand out. [And Chuuta stood out, all the time.]
