Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your third 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with two trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

...It j-just seems to me a more d-d-democratic government where the ruler is s-subject to an election... it might improve th-things.

[Undyne is not being overly-forceful here, but there is definitely an air of 'hm. don't like it.' to her words. Even if she's trying to be charitable and listen.]

W-Well... are you saying the Queen has never, even once, made a mistake?

['Mistake', yeah, sure... she'll go with that.]

It seems to me, when you have a Queen, there's no way to say "Wait, hold on, are you sure that's a good idea?" ...If you had elections, the person making decisions would have to explain t-themselves. And someone else could offer their own point of view on how to run th-things.

[It was harder when she had to hold back from talking about what had "already happened," even if she had the idea Undyne wouldn't be charitable to their situation anyway.]

Of course she's made mistakes. She's as fallible as anyone else. But the queen has a good heart and wants to do right by the people. Everyone loves her. Why would we have elections when everyone would just vote for her anyway?

Hm... well, isn't there a purpose there, too? [She couldn't help smiling as she got an idea how to spin this.]

If she's really so loved, then the election will prove it and everyone can be confident in her leadership. The Queen, too, can be reassured.

And who knows? Maybe there is someone out there who has good ideas, too. If the election was close, the Queen would know what the people expect and want.

It's not a bad idea, but who would run against her? There's not really that many boss monsters around here anymore.

Well, there's the queen, and then her husband. But he went topside hundreds of years ago, long before most of the monsters down here were even born.

Then there's the Big Tem who is kind of a boss monster, but I don't think anyone would vote for Big Tem.
