[CONTINUE + 2] Week 1 || Act: mingle

Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your third 'time' trying this monday.
There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.
Well, whatever.
You still have a mission - And with two trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.
...How much longer will this repeat?

It's a far cry from how friendly they were before, at least.
As you all take in this keg about to blow, though...you might notice something...or someone strange at the bar, just sitting there calmly.
...
It's someone who's entirely gray.]

They don't seem to be armed, but are attempting to get Grillby's attention...yet, the bartender isn't noticing them, despite you being able to hear what they're saying clear as day.]
* Hey.
* Hey, Grillby....
* ....Aren't you listening?
* Why are you ignoring me?
* I want a hamburger....
* ....
[As they finish speaking, the monsters in the surrounding area seem to get more irritated.]
no subject
...what's up with the eyeball clam?
[ whispered ]

[And it would only take a wrong move or careless comment for the tension to explode]
no subject
[Doing so feels Exceptionally Weird given their previous experiences with gray people, but, you know. Get those options on the table.]

He'll turn to Grillby nonetheless, feeling rather impatient. ]
You there. Serve me a hamburger. One of those subservient to me desires it so.
[ Clearly that was helpful, wasn't it? ]
no subject
The Gray Being continues to stare where Grillby used to be, before turning over to look at them.]
* Oh....
* You can see me? Hear me?
* ....I'm happy.
* But you'll forget about me too, won't you?
* Monsters from another world.

Music tends to have wondrous effects on people and animals, why would it be different for monsters?
Though he pauses... 'monsters from another world'...]

[ His eyes narrowed. Gilgamesh didn't take such things lightly and it seemed he was the one asking questions here, so... ]

[ Marisa skitters away to some of the other bar patrons to chat some of them up. She doesn't ask about the clam monster but she does try to gauge whether or not she can try to see what, exactly, is making them irritated? ]
no subject
The Clam merely 'blinks' at Gilgamesh, her shell shutting for a moment before she speaks again.]
* The Sea.
* It's beautiful, you know?
* Like how Waterfall's ceiling looks, but more.
* Incredibly vast....with shining crystals in it....
* Every crystal is a world.
* You come from the crystals.
* So you're Monsters from another world.
* ....
* ...I should go.
* You'll forget me when you can't see me anymore.
* Thank you for talking with me.
* Even if I can't remember who I am anymore...
[The Clam monster stands up, pushing herself away from the barstool.]

And he's not entirely unaware of what LoFi means - he puts on a chill-sounding tune - let's see if that has a positive effect]

...A couple questions before you depart.
When did you end up in such a state, and what were the circumstances surrounding it? And why are you so accepting of it?
no subject
* Acceptance?
* This is acceptance to you?
[You get the impression that was the wrong thing to say, as all the Monsters nearby suddenly get very irritated.]
* Do you think I want to accept being like this?
* I don't remember anything.
* Anything at all.
* Including me.
* I'm not even a Monster.
* I'm just something else.
* A little piece of someone who used to exist.
* Forget it.
* You'll be like me too, soon.
* Everyone will.
* So go FIGHT each other while you still have the chance.
[And with that, she walks off - bumping into a particularly nasty looking piranha plant-like Monster...who suddenly lets out a roar and initiates a FIGHT.

This was going far too well to been true!]

Remind me why we brought him?
no subject
[ He's right here!! The one time he made a comment he thought wouldn't offend anyone. Whatever the monster was idiotic anyways and he knew he disliked it for a reason!! ]
Hmph, what a nuisance it was after all.
[ Let's act! ]

[He hisses at Gilgamesh]
You helped enough already.

This seems like a good time to take some notes. Gray eye-clam-head monster, other monsters didn't seem to be able to consciously see her, knew about the Sea of Fragments.]

* Thank you for talking with me.
* Even if I can't remember who I am anymore...
This conversation feels eerily familiar. Hasn't she talked with someone like this, before?
Miss Above Ground Human...
Thanks for spending time with me! ]
...hey, how do ya know we're gonna forget about ya?
[ No one remembered Koishi when she wasn't standing in their field of view, at first, but she was getting easier and easier to recall, these days. ]
