Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your second 'time' trying this monday.

...Though....are there a few less Monsters here than there were before? ...Nah. You must be imagining it.

You still have a mission - and after the events of the last trial, you want to do your best to stop whatever is causing this.

But, hey. You really do have nothing but time now to figure it out.

[clarke usually heads out to the waterfall since it's quieter and the view is nice so she isn't surprised when she notices yoshi there too] I'm guessing you came out here to do some stargazing?

Yeah I did.

So what are you doing out here then?

Well, usually I can see numbers, right?

But now I can't, and it's weird. So I've been blinking really hard just in case it comes back.

[It makes perfect sense, really.]

Oh— right, yeah.

[it's all good yoshi. clarke is totally not judging even if she knows that that wouldn't really bring their powers back] I can imagine is must be weird if you're so used it being there.

Yeah. It's probably similar to how you would feel if suddenly you were colorblind.

I can still see everything, but I can't see everything I'm used to.

Oh— yeah, that makes sense.

[she nods at that] It's a bit different for me with losing mine since before this place, I never had anything like that. [which of course now means relying on her physical skills but she's used to that already so it's not something she's too bothered in comparison]

I've been able to see the numbers since I was born. Even though my family was totally normal, I somehow ended up with this power.

Really? Is that a rare thing where you're from then? [especially from being the only one in his family to have a power at all]

Never heard of anyone else who can do it!

Sounds like it's definitely rare then— it must be strange too though being the only person who does have it.
