[CONTINUE] Week 1 || Act: mingle
Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your second 'time' trying this monday.
...Though....are there a few less Monsters here than there were before? ...Nah. You must be imagining it.
You still have a mission - and after the events of the last trial, you want to do your best to stop whatever is causing this.
But, hey. You really do have nothing but time now to figure it out.
FUN VALUE: 2

So for today, you can find Chuuta hiding away, sewing needle in hand as he embroiders something on a square of fabric. That's all he's doing today.]

Inaba is actually looking for him, so him holing away somewhere is actually a good chance to actually get to talk to him, or so she'd like to hope, anyway. Of course, she'll keep her voice low as she waves, making an attempt at conversation.]
... hey, what're you making?

I've never seen anyone knit before, so it's totally out of my element... but is this the kind of thing you find fun? I can't help but be a little curious.
no subject
Back home I did a lot of housework, but I really do like sewing and crocheting and things like that. What do you like to do for fun?
no subject
I dabble in a lot of computer-related stuff. I plan on majoring in engineering and specializing in computers and information technology in the future... although I also do a lot of reading and playing games on my off time. I've seen a lot of neat cross-stitches before, although it seems pretty difficult.
no subject
Yeah, Drew helps a lot with working out cross-stitch patterns when I want to do something really detailed.
I don't play a lot of phone games, but I brought my phone with me so I can keep up with Neko Atsume and some other things. You're one of those people who likes gacha games, right?
no subject
[Personally speaking, anyway.]
I do, yeah - but I can't play any of them here while we have no access to the internet. Not like it'd matter, considering.

Hey, you really are sewing!
no subject
I am. I thought it might be nice to have a map with all the monsters we meet.

He's not actually thinking about those ways at the moment, though. He'd just wandered into the librarby because he was bored - there's not too much else for him to do right now, and maybe he can find a book about monster sports or something? Better than sitting in the room feeling sorry for himself, right?
When Giovanni spots Chuuta, his first impulse is to back away and check out a different section. He isn't ready for a confrontation right now, and it would almost certainly violate the librarby's quiet policy. But then he notices what it is Chuuta's doing, and his eyes light up, all complications between them temporarily forgotten. ]
Hey! You sew?!
no subject
He nods, with only slightly forced smile.]
I do. Do you?
no subject
[ Giovanni presses a hand to his chest, momentarily scandalized. ]
Of course I don't sew! I knit! And I'm darn good at it! You know if they got any pattern books in this librarby?
[ Yes, he pronounces both B's in that word. ]

[ Giovanni starts perusing the shelves, trying to determine if the monster Dewey Decimal System bears any resemblance to the human one. Does he have the number for the knitting section memorized? No, but also, yes absolutely. (746.43, for the record.) ]
...Ssssoooooo. You're a cop, huh?
[ His tone is casual, but his back remains to Chuuta as he speaks. ]
no subject
Yeah, we're space cops.
no subject
Uh. Hypothetically, if someone here committed a bunch of crimes that weren't in space... would you still, y'know, arrest them?
[ He scoots one leg closer to the exit, ready to bolt, depending on Chuuta's response. You'll never take him alive! ]
no subject
Hypothetically, if someone was an alien and committed crimes on a planet that doesn't have laws about alien crimes, then we'd arrest them.
But it's not like anyone has the same job here as they do back home.
