Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your second 'time' trying this monday.

...Though....are there a few less Monsters here than there were before? ...Nah. You must be imagining it.

You still have a mission - and after the events of the last trial, you want to do your best to stop whatever is causing this.

But, hey. You really do have nothing but time now to figure it out.

[Tucked into a booth at Grillby's, you might find Hitoka carefully and neatly updating a map of the areas seen so far, with helpful tabs and color-coding! Feel free to let her know if anything in particular should get some extra notes... or that her drink is getting cold.

Alternatively, you'll find her settled down by the Waterfall, looking pensive.

...and a bit chilly, but she's not paying any mind to that.]

O-Oh! ...thank you. I went to school for design, but I've always been pretty good at compiling notes, I suppose. I like things neat and tidy.

Ah... yeah, I was almost done with my degree, before... well. You know.

All I was doing was staying home! No wonder you're so good at taking notes!

My mother got me settled into good habits, early. And when I got to high school, I made friends who encouraged me a lot, too. I wanted to, um, to branch out from my comfort zone a little... so I became the newest manager of our school's volleyball team! ...I got a lot of note-taking practice, there.

[She blinks, and caps the highlighter she was finishing up with, before offering up a small smile.]

Have you made many friends, this evening? You seemed to be getting a pretty warm welcome.

And Mr. Holmes is fine, I am not too particular about how I'm addressed. I do tend to get along with dogs pretty well, so I suppose I naturally gravitate towards the guards here.

Dogs are cute. Unfortunately I can only be with them on the sly, nowadays...

[She tabs over to a page: all about the Garbage Dump. And how the dummy (marked on the map) there is possessed, and spoiling for a fight, and only responds either way if you strike it but will usually calm down if you explain you're a ghost in a fake body, and other assorted tidbits.]

...we have a lot more room here. There aren't... obvious traps. The food is plenty, and as best we can tell, the air is clear. ...but that just means the dangers aren't obvious, anymore.
