Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your second 'time' trying this monday.

...Though....are there a few less Monsters here than there were before? ...Nah. You must be imagining it.

You still have a mission - and after the events of the last trial, you want to do your best to stop whatever is causing this.

But, hey. You really do have nothing but time now to figure it out.

[ Oddly enough, he can't really make out the monster. They seem to be made almost entirely of shadows, but that could be the dim lighting of Grillby's and the broken light above them. He can spot their long, spindly looking hand that is stroking the head of doggo.

Doggo himself seems to be enjoying the attention. ]

Pet! Pot! Pot! Pet!

[He does call out to the dogs, from their view they'll be seeing his tail wagging and ears up right]

Hello! We were hoping one of the skeletons would come by to feed us.

[ This is from Dogamy. Dogaressa will look over. Another dog! ] Or throw us a bone. We love bones!

What dog doesn't? What do the Skeletons tend to offer, might I ask?

Sans will give us his table scraps!

[He does join, giving the occasional glance over to the spindly arm and the dog being petted giving a quiet little 'hm']

How generous! Not everyone shares table scraps, which is rather rude if you ask me.

It really looks like a wild party happened, so what was the happy occasion?

[ Guess what Sherlock? The shadow monster has two hands. As soon as he comes over, he'll feel the long fingers coming to pat him on the head.]

It is rude! We can handle it! We're adults. [ From Dogaressa. while Dogamy surveys the room with a wagging tail. ]

There was a brawl in here. Undyne wasn't happy with the mess we made.

[ Their ears all droop, while their tails cease wagging. ]

[The wagging slows - yes, there was that argument on Monday - this must be the result of it, he glances back at the other hand as he's patted. Well hello.]

Oh dear, a brawl here of all places? I had thought it was peaceful, what happened exactly?

[ The married pair look at each other with their heads tilting to the side. ]

I don't really remember what happened.

There was a lot of distractions.

[ And then doggo will speak up: ] Pat. Pot. Pet.

[ He doesn't have anything to really share because he's getting pets. ]

Pet. Pot. Pat. [ The shadowy monster will stop patting, and Sherlock will hear a voice coming from it. ]

That's just something he says when he gets pet a lot. I'm impressed though. You seem to be the only dog who doesn't get excited at pets!

[He leans into the hand, the dog form's tail wagging - it really hasn't stopped]

Ah... well, I had to have much control. Too much danger on the surface! I have to be alert even with pets!

[ The dogs all seem to be impressed by this!

The hands go to scritch his ear. ]

[ There's a bark from Lesser Dog. He's a good boy too! ]

[It does feel good, kind of like a scalp massage he has to admit, though it is kind of embarrassing]

[Thank good that man isn't here or he'd never hear the end of it]

That's right, you are. Now who wants belly rubs?

[ All the dogs get excited at that. Doggo is moving back and forth going belly rubs? belly rubs? ]

He tries to think happy thoughts not to be the odd dog out. If he's right, someone is going to get a talking to later]

[ Hand moves off of head to pat him on the stomach, while the other long one goes to pat doggo. Thankfully, it's short lived as they move on to pat each of the dogs. They all seem to be getting excited. Tails are thumping hard. Lesser dog's neck seems to be growing longer. This might not be the best place to get them all excited, especially after it suffered from a fight earlier this week. ]
