Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your second 'time' trying this monday.

...Though....are there a few less Monsters here than there were before? ...Nah. You must be imagining it.

You still have a mission - and after the events of the last trial, you want to do your best to stop whatever is causing this.

But, hey. You really do have nothing but time now to figure it out.

[He saw her dead body. Things very easily could have turned out worse than this.]

[There's a rather lengthy pause, contemplative.]

I worried you a lot, didn't I? Sometimes, I wish that you hadn't come. Because I know that something like this was possible. But -

[She reaches out for his hand, to thread her fingers in his own.]

At the same time... I think if you weren't, I might have lost myself completely. [Her voice softens, and she swaps to Japanese.] It's not stupid, right? Just how terrified I am over everything? I'm trying to make sure the others don't worry, but I'm really scared.

If I hadn't come, I would have worried more. When you were in that game show, I think I depression-napped through most of it, aside from the times where I was screaming at the tv because you were in imminent danger.

[Time to thread their fingers together!]

It's okay to be scared. I'm scared too. But that's what makes someone brave, yeah? If they keep going even when they're scared.

Honestly, I can count the times I almost died back there on a hand.

[She squeezes his hand a little tightly laughing a bit mirthlessly.]
