Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your second 'time' trying this monday.

...Though....are there a few less Monsters here than there were before? ...Nah. You must be imagining it.

You still have a mission - and after the events of the last trial, you want to do your best to stop whatever is causing this.

But, hey. You really do have nothing but time now to figure it out.

We already know this certain someone has issues about feeling out of sorts and being without his ability, so what about this-- [he reaches up to tap at WWX's nose] --certain someone? He hasn't vented very much at all!

There's hardly much to vent at all. It's not the first I've been without my Cultivation, and if things continue going this way in this world, it likely won't be the last.

Also, what about the dogs? Surely you find that frustrating?

My memory isn't that bad. [ He still remembers and they are probably in a death game with possession and everything. ] I do wish there were less dogs, especially without any armor, but there's not much we can do about them. Just get past them as quickly and hope that we'll break the cycle.

In the house, you were a lot more talkative about things. Probably because it seemed to certain how it would go? Because of the miasma? Is it just that there's more confidence in how this situation will be handled?

I don't know if I have any confidence in how this will be handled, but the group is made up of mostly kids. Wouldn't be much of a... senpai? I wouldn't be much of one if I couldn't act calm for them. [ Gotta conceal, don't feel, don't let them knoooooow ]

It's too early to tell if it's a pattern but considering how this world loves a format for these things... [ He doesn't want to be optimistic, even if he wishes he could be ] If it's feeding off the monsters and their memories, it may just want to keep eating more and more. Though I do wonder if it was eating others before we arrived.

That Red person came here for reconnaissance, meaning something had to have been happening to draw their attention.

But if it's been a looping timeline like this, who knows how long it's actually been going on.

The other question I have is... if human SOULS are so valuable... why was Inaba-chan's spared? Is whatever possessed that man looking for a specific one?

It's something to think about, anyway.

Though the other issue there is... would your bag still work to contain a SOUL if you don't have your abilities? Or will we have to think of another way to contain future ones?

The bag has incantations that are woven into the fabric. It should still work, even if I get killed.
