[CONTINUE] ROUND 6 - INTRO

[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.

Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate, where it looks as if someone is waiting for all of you just inside. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!

...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.

Welcome to the Underground.

Haven't you done this before? No, you have. There was the murder, the trial, the ending and the Darkness -

Any abilities or powers you might have had are now totally off, as if they were never there.

[Looks at Flowey, looks at Ren a little worriedly.]

... Alright.

[Don't want to look too suspicious.]

[He whispers]

[suddenly, like before, they're in the battle menu, their tinted SOULs on display.]

Oh! Huh. Your SOULs are a little colored....that's really strange.

Well, Anyway! I'll start off small. You've got defense, right?

[And off go a few 'pellets' at them, in the same way they did the last time.]

Surface monsters are pretty strange.

[And that's all she'll say on that.

She does remember this pattern, so she'll be able to dodge it the same as last time while trying to make sure not to bump into Ren's own SOUL.

Well, she'll probably give him some signals on which direction she's going so he can take the opposite end. Teamwork.]

[Ironically Ren's heart is upside down, being a Yellow shooter-SOUL and all. But they manage to not bump each other at least!]

Huh...well, you're the first ones I've ever met, so I'll take your word on it!

[There's a few more shot their way - not like bullet hell, but definitely a bit harder. He seems to note Ren's soul, and is acting accordingly, sending a few bullets so Ren can shoot them down.]

[That line's different.

But then again, so was her own statement. She'll dodge as necessary, but I have to ask: besides what he sends to Ren, is the pattern similar to last time?]

[Ren focuses fully on his aim- making sure to not accidentally hit Inaba- thankfully he's a very good shot]

[Yes, the pattern is the same.]

Okay....You're Blue and Yellow, right? Then try this!

[And -

it's an entire closed circle of pellets around them, again. But this time, they both know what they can do to avoid it.]

[Frowns a bit because there are war flashbacks, but she does, in fact, know what can be done to avoid it.]

I'll take left.

[She says that to imply that Ren should take right, because she'll be watching the pellets rather carefully -

Enough so that she can time things for the jump.]

[heheh see cuz both right and ri- okay never mind cuz now is the time to shoot himself an opening to dart through]

[They both successfully avoid the pellets, and Flowey smiles.]

Hey, good job! Alright, my turn's over. Your turn!

She looks at Ren-]

We should check our ACT options first.

Agreed... though I really wanna see wiggle eventually.

Hey, uh....aren't you guys going to do anything?

[Glances at Ren with a brow raised.

'Mostly harmless?']

You're taking responsibility for our wiggle option.

[Does it go to Flowey's turn after that check or do we still have access to the menu?]

Actually, let me try something.

[they have no powers- and even if they did they would clearly not be like monster attack patterns. So instead he tries to create something like Flowey's pellets. Their SOULs are almost white after all.

He doesn't have his persona but he pictures something like an Eiha. Little darkness flames.]

[He can indeed make pellets - though they look like white flames instead of black ones. Flowey's SOUL - a plain monster soul - dodges them expertly.]

Ah! Golly, I didn't expect that! You're a fire cat, huh? Okay, last turn!

[What will you do?]

[Also didn't expect that, so color her surprised.

She's also noting it down mentally for later. She'll have to keep that in mind in the future, although she can't say she's fond of doing something like that.

Because it just winds up confirming something that she doesn't like...

...let's cover her issues with a joke!]

That was kind of hot.

Can you try doing that again - but with a different pattern?

[Ren gives a little 'Mrehehehe!' at the joke- though honestly coming from him it only seems a little like acting. ]

[this time he tries an actual pattern- little waves made of flame coming from the side- though with easy enough to navigate gaps. He doesn't wanna actually hurt the guy]

[Flowey JUUUUST manages to dodge it - Though he looks a little worn out.]

[The FIGHT ends, and Flowey gives a little wave before ducking down into the earth.

Looks like that's all you'll be getting from him today.]

[Well, thank god she can relax now, enough to sigh and put her hand up to Ren for a hi-five.]

We learned something new from that encounter.
