[CONTINUE] ROUND 6 - INTRO

[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.

Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate, where it looks as if someone is waiting for all of you just inside. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!

...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.

[ ...so eventuality it'll be like the incineration of humanity but on a grander scale. Well, that'd explain why there's no future anywhere with anything that existed was 'erased' as having never existed... ]

So then, if he never "existed," then we can't have met him, and Inaka could never have died, so we just... reset?

At the very least that could've been the catalyst for the 'reset'.

...It's Toriel's fault.

It was her 'punishment', for something he didn't even do, really. She's orchestrated this... I know it.

...Her? She'd turn herself to dust before she could gain the competence and malevolence required to pull off such a complex, irritating, and burdensome ploy.

[ That was probably kind of rude to Toriel in a way but hey. ]

S-She's obviously no stranger to manipulation... all the talk about "I'm so very diappointed with you," and a-all that c-crap!

It was just to make us feel bad and want to go along with what she said. F-For all we know she's still doing it!

While I've no doubt she is well familiar with manipulation, given her position as Queen...where would be her motive? She cares rather closely about her subjects.

Why would she, as a ruler, turn against her own people and desire their erasure so fervently? It wouldn't make any sense.

[ He'll open his hand slightly, and then scowl down at it when he felt nothing before looking at her again. Habit for a drink to appear in it but alas. That's not possible right now. ]

...Sometimes power is enough. Power for the sake of making others miserable. But I guess I don't have any real accusation beyond that.

[She sighs.]

[ He'll consider her words carefully. If Toriel were a tyrant, he could see it.

Gilgamesh remembered how awfully he had treated his people at one point; it'd be stupid not to acknowledge that. ]

Yes - or rather, it was an attempt to summon it. I'm far too used to doing so, but not being able to was something I can't ever recall having an issue with.

[ His expression turned instantly unamused; outwardly he just looked slightly irritated, but he could already feel his mood souring rapidly. As it was before. ]

[She's crying before he's ever walking away.]

[ He won't say anything to her or look in her direction... if anything he seemed completely dismissive of her words as they reached his ears.
