[CONTINUE] ROUND 6 - INTRO
[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.
Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate, where it looks as if someone is waiting for all of you just inside. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!
...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.
Welcome to the Underground.
You have the -
wait.
Haven't you done this before? No, you have. There was the murder, the trial, the ending and the Darkness -
Any abilities or powers you might have had are now totally off, as if they were never there.
...Someone who was dead is alive again. And someone else....
...
What was his name? You've forgotten it.]

...But, it didn't last long. Probably because he knew neither of them could do anything about it for now. ]
We'll simply have to find a better way.
[ He'll look down at his armor for a moment and then wonder about something. Maybe his refusal to back down was just out of spite now; nothing so noble as determination, he'd wager. ]
If there's something that could provide resistance against magic being sold in one of those stores. Even if the likelihood could be low, it's well worth considering. Until then, we'll have to make do with what we can, as irritating as it is.
[ ... ]
I refuse to allow this insect to achieve victory against us.

though he knows that he may have to watch him closer--just in case any funny ideas form in that temperamental brain of his. ]
We will find a better way. We have come back victorious from tense situations before, and I have full trust in the abilities of this group to do so again.
[ he nods. ]
Giving up is not an option here.

...No, really, it was fine. It was comforting, though he'll never say such words in public because he was just like that. But that and hearing him agree had an affect, whether he was just saying it...no surely he believed it.
They had been through such an abysmal situation before where both of them had hardly believed they'd truly escaped despite their assurances to themselves, and yet, they had made it occur.
The blond didn't really smile per say, but the way the tension falls away from his face made him look a touch tired but less moody for the moment, even if the stubbornness didn't leave. ]
Hmph, that we have. If anyone even so much as considers it, I'll gladly put the fool into their place immediately. Luckily, it is not as if we're all woefully incompetent; we'd likely benefit from finding more answers about our enemy by exploring.
[ Once they're done here, he can't wait for them to steal away presumably into a private moment. It's much needed on both ends, he felt. ]</small.
