Week 2 Slumber Party Mingle
[ Clearly what everyone needs after that execution is a way to make sure that nobody has to be alone if they don't want to, which clearly means... Yes, it's time for another slumber party. Once again the lobby is taken over with permission from the staff, and bedding of various types is dragged out.
There is also an alarming amount of plush toys. There they all are, just... staring.
There's still room for hot chocolate and snacks, though. ]

Even Roxas had a hard time re-adjusting to talking to people...and actually being people again but that is neither here nor there. ]
The worse it gets? [ He sounds a little confused, but it does spark further curiousity. ] What was it like back at your home, anyway? Did you have a lot of friends?

I had everyone I needed.
[There's something both stubborn and resigned in it. Like something well-worn you tell yourself, enough times it becomes something to live by. There are some people you need to live and then other people exist.
She gives a small shrug.]
I think it was a pretty ordinary city, but with more technology. Most things are run by machine, and we have robots at home to help us do things... [kind of like the staff here, but usually less creepy] What about yours? Was it anything like that?

Not really anything like that at all.
[ The blond thinks of the places to describe...Twilight Town or The World That Never Was? Well, he thinks he needs to pick just the one - he's trying to decide. Maybe he should start with the one he was in (kind of) and go from there. ]
The last place I was in was kind of in a town? There was an amazing horizon at sunset, and an incredible view from the Clocktower where if you sat with some friends, it can make for a great hang out near the end of the day. It was quiet and a small place - people knew each other there and it felt like a homely place to be.
[ Too bad he only returned to it when it was a digital version, but Roxas had definitely been to the real Twilight Town before. ]

... That sounds really peaceful.
[It sounds so very far away from this place, and so far away from the places she knows, jungles of skyscrapers and neon lights that are easy to get lost in. Sometimes you forget that there are other people in them, at the right hour and the right roads.]
We can usually only really see the sunset from really high up, in a building, or the harbor. I think the harbor is probably closer to what you're talking about. There aren't as many people there, just water and the birds.

...Even if none of the people there would actually recognize him. ]
...I'd guess the same, but any place where it's quiet and peaceful with a nice view sounds like it could be nice to me.
[ ... ]
But, if your city had a lot of buildings that were high up...the closest place I've been to that might've been similar would be The World That Never Was.
