WEEK 1 || ACT: MINGLE
Monday comes onto the snowy town, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, and there's so much to explore.
But, there is also that ever-looming threat. Still, it doesn't seem like anyone here could do such a thing as summon something to eat this world....right?
Well. You still have time to figure it out.
...In fact, you'll have nothing but time.

[Wait, no.
He'll go join Dazai just outside the party, so they don't have to yell at each other.]
Because you're making jokes anyone would make a face at, that's why.

--ah, and Atsushi-kun, when you have time, could you help fill in the gaps for me?
[pulling out his notebook which has some scribbles inside.
hush hush down low on this but also...]
I'm still getting up to speed with a few things.

Ah, you mean, with the stuff I experienced? Do you want me to write it in, or just tell you?

...I know that sounds similar to your situation, but ours was actually different. The Foundation also tested a memory-erasing drug on us at the time, and all of us forgot we were even agents. Our memories slowly came back during our time at Hotel California.
By the way, the hotel was alive. And it actually treated us pretty well, after everything was over. It was just very, very sick, and it needed our negative emotions and despair to feed off of and heal itself.

... funny, that. The spider wanted our despair and pain to feed off as well.
I don't know if the curse required that, but the spider certainly wanted us to feel that.

Apparently fear makes them grow, but once they're older and established, happiness is enough to feed them? Because the Hotel's grandchildren were haunted houses. And the Hotel said that they 'grew up' when they shifted from a haunted house to something more friendly to humans.

Or something very similar...

Everything that happened at the hotel was pretty bad, but in the end our suffering helped the Hotel heal, so I guess it was for a good purpose. And since Ichigo and Syzael-san were both there, everyone who had died was put into new bodies and it all turned out alright.

What's that look for?

Ah, well. Everything that happened in the Winchester house was so miserable and terrible, but in the end everything worked out, didn't it? I even got my lovers' death--though it wasn't even a suicide--and we were brought back to life and given new bodies and now everything's turned out all right.

And he's going to reach out- moving slowly, so he doesn't startle Dazai- and attempt to catch Dazai's face between his hands. Because he wants to smoosh that face a bit right now.]

... lets it get smooshed a bit if it makes tiger feel better.]

So just because there was a positive outcome, you'll overlook the suffering?
I can understand that. For The Greater Good has been something I've been well used to for a long time. But honestly... these days, it's very exhausting to hear.
Why did that house need to be saved at the expense of so many people? Isn't it natural for things to live and die? What's so special about it? It being your choice is one thing, but what gives someone a right to dictate the worth of your life in comparison to that house?
[spoilers: there is no right. and he's the worst offender and he knows it.]

[He had been avoiding that part, but since Dazai is preventing him from squishing his face more he'll just let Dazai hold his hands for a bit.]
One of the agents that had gone in first, he was sick. And the Hotel caught the sickness from him, and we had to remove him from the Hotel entirely before the Hotel could even begin to heal. If we hadn't sent that sick agent in, then the Hotel never would have gotten sick in the first place.
