ROUND 6 - INTRO

[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.

Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate, where it looks as if someone is waiting for all of you just inside. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!

...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.

Chuuya-san loses in fights with you because he relies on his ability too much, so when you negate that ability he's left without about 70% of his fighting abilities. He's also very rash and attacks immediately when provoked, which will always lose to careful thought.

There's fighting, and then there's egging Chuuya-san on because you can beat him in a fight with your left eye covered.

It's possible, I suppose. Or maybe he switched it when he became the Boss.

IDK maybe if Atsushi could remember his answer from 55 Minutes, we'd all know this

That would be doing exactly what Mori-san expected.

Mori-san did kill someone very dear to me, after all. The very thought of going along with expectations is sickening.

[For a moment, it might sound like Atsushi is about to ask who that person is. But he pauses, remembering everything he learned from previous rounds, and asks something else. ]

Was it Oda-san?

[He sounds resigned when he speaks next. ]

The Oda-san that is in the Foundation is the same Oda-san from my world, and is still alive, as I last recall.

Because of the Dazai he knows, he hates my guts and told me to stay away.

Even though he watched all those tapes and saw how things went, I'm still compared against that guy...

[muttered because ACTUALLY! KIND OF BITTER-SPITE ON THAT POINT? but pretend you didn't hear that. SIGHS HEAVILY.]

Well, either way, it's not like I can leave this world. So we're just stuck with it like this, probably.

[... probably, he'll be thinking of what to do about that while they're on this mission, ngl.]

[There are other things he wants to say. Explanations to make. But each word turns to ash in his mouth, leaving behind a bitter, dry taste.

So instead, he just nods, accepting Dazai's words. It's alright, Dazai doesn't have to know the truth.]

I haven't spoken to him either. It's for the best, he doesn't need further reminders of everything that happened.

... I think back before Mimic, I would have been surprised by Odasaku's temper. Now, it's not so surprising at all. He's got a very good poker face.

Either way~ Now's not the time to dwell on all of that. More importantly, I'm pretty sure I'm in better shape than my mafia counterpart thanks to the loving care of a former sports manager and therefore! Would be able to last much longer in a fight than before!
