FINAL CONFRONTATION.

The Winchester House looms before you, the barrier that kept everything in - the time stop that Dog placed over the area - now thin as a single pane of transparent glass, Solomon still clearly outside the house frozen in the same position he was on the tapes.
The minutes tick by - and the barrier slowly gets thinner and thinner, close to falling.
You have seen everything - the events of the past. You have also come up with your own ideas of what to do from here - how to save your fellow 6350's lost to the curse, and defeat the Curse itself.
There is no one left alive in the house.
But, at the end of all of this...
There will be a wrong righted.

Following each concentric ring of distortion back to its center, the core... but not quite the core of the house. The majority of the magic is coming from underneath the static area. The real problem now is: how will you get beneath the house?]

Something more or less formed in the air from a portal and fired some kind of spear that seemed to ram straight towards the source of the magic, tearing right through the floor with the amount of force it had, probably making a decent-sized hole? Unless like double barrier shenanigans or something we just don't know.
You're welcome, girls. ]

Er.
[ Thanks, Gil. ]

Indeed, it's a lot more efficient than combing the floor or the house for secret stairways or anything else: the spear does manage to make a hole in the floor with an almighty crackaboom of splintering wood and glass, but also in a moment it makes... a splash?
Because now that they've gained access to the basement, it's very evident that the space is thoroughly flooded, water reaching almost to the ceiling and making it very difficult to estimate the actual dimensions of the room. The water itself is also turbid, laced through with the purple of miasma and who knows what else, tossing and foaming like a storm-driven sea. While this isn't exactly like the pool-MJBK he ran into, it might be a slightly familiar sight for Gil.
It's very dark down there, but it seems like ghosts don't especially need a lot of light, judging by the fact that they're all basement dwellers.]
Ha. Not bad, but it seems you still needed the King to come to your rescue for the real digging. Now. Are you ready?
[The voice is still hard to pinpoint and yet somehow clear through the mediums of water and whatever else. Truly Verbalism is cheating at times like these.]

I have an idea of how to get the water out of the basement.

What are you thinking?

So you know he'll summon more holy swords in a constant stream in order to stop the oncoming butterflies. And then...just also pelt the walls and probably the bullets, thereby tearing through them (don't ask he's just got a lot of weapons out now) with a constant stream of holy swords to see if he could help narrow down the source here. ]

[ remember the Imaginary Number Sea
She's ducking and swerving to miss the bullets and butterflies, but to demonstrate her point, she opens a smaller portal to the void that swallows up one of the incoming bullets--and then she closes it, the bullet gone. ]

Think fast, or you might just be going for an impromptu swim.]

Apparently I can!

And his patience ran thin.
Golden portals began to open all over the room and started to blast lances and spears through the walls, tearing a few down. He had no idea where in the fuck Date was, but going into the basement to fight like two other people without knowing where the third was would be sheer madness.
In the meanwhile, let's get summon some light here. He'll make it come forth by moving a finger in an 'L' shape to see more down into the basement other than Water and butterflies which were being pelted with holy swords. ]

Sakura squeaks a little but will just, um, do whatever causes less trouble? Grab onto a ledge or something. This is very precarious, if Karen is holding her and then Gil is holding Karen........... ]

(It is possible, in the seconds before the onslaught, for Gilgamesh to spot a couple of things with his rays of light: one, a lonely jacuzzi sitting on the basement-slash-sea floor. Waiting. Watching. Two, the telltale green glow a bit further in, not enough to resolve itself into any kind of shape but fairly recognizable given all they've seen of Subete's barrier magic.)
The next moment, several towering geysers of water shoot out of the whirling surface below -- all of them aiming to swallow up the three still bobbing or floating above. Some of them will be scalding, and some freezing, and at least one of them will actually solidify into a column of ice between the surface of the water and the ceiling. It may well behoove them not to get caught in these... because the currents in them are ridiculous and nonsensical and designed to drag any prey right down to the bottom.]
