FINAL CONFRONTATION.

The Winchester House looms before you, the barrier that kept everything in - the time stop that Dog placed over the area - now thin as a single pane of transparent glass, Solomon still clearly outside the house frozen in the same position he was on the tapes.
The minutes tick by - and the barrier slowly gets thinner and thinner, close to falling.
You have seen everything - the events of the past. You have also come up with your own ideas of what to do from here - how to save your fellow 6350's lost to the curse, and defeat the Curse itself.
There is no one left alive in the house.
But, at the end of all of this...
There will be a wrong righted.

But as for the actual dragon; he lifts a hand and a shiny prismatic bubble springs into being around him. Makarakarn, or repel magic to buffer his already innate Anti-All. There is a slight frown though as he sees who's nest they've wandered into. ]
Sandalphon, I believe it best I support you in this instance. [ Which is to say he's conjuring a mazendyne (greater wind spell) to whisk that breath away into a nearby wall or whatever, he's not picky. But it probably is notable that he's trying not to get too close to the dragon itself, hm. ]

[Ugh, whatever. He has good manoeuvrability like this, so it's just unfortunate that there's not nearly enough space here for him to move around as much as he likes. Still, any movement on his end is rendered moot when Alcor simply blows away the breath, with Sandalphon nodding briefly in response.]
Your assistance is appreciated, if unnecessary.
[They got their free attack, so now it's time for theirs. And for his part, he simply rushes forward at Flayn with his sword drawn, flanked by the four swords at his side, which quickly split off to slash and stab at her from different angles while targeting different parts of her body - her wings, her tail, her torso, a leg - anything is free game at this point and the attacks are all imbued with light element, so it'll probably hurt some if any of them strike home. Sandalphon, for his own part, goes unhesitatingly for her neck with his own blade.
Simple, probably. But the attacks all come in fast and in quick succession, so be careful about that.]

She deflects three of the swords, but the last one hits her in one of her legs. Big hit, actually, ouch. She roars and swings at him with her teeth and claws and breathes more of her miasma-tinted light breath at him. She's not much for tactics. ]

You scum. If it weren't for the confines of this house...
[...Well anyways, nothing to be done about it now. But it's clear he's looking to do some more serious damage this time with the way his wings flare out and the golden light that surrounds him.
So now there's a whole shitload of lasers coming your way, Flayn. Thankfully it's not enough to turn the place into a crater, but they're a lot more potent than the swords, considering they're actually light energy this time.]

It's more difficult for her to cast magic as a dragon, so she doesn't resort to that. She can't help but think, is this what Rhea felt like when she was fighting off imperial soldiers coming for her? No, it's only two men against her, she can do this, there's only two of them--!
The lasers knock into her easily, because all she's employing at the moment is raw strength. Flayn lets out a strangled cry as one of her wings is scorched particularly brutally. One wing isn't enough to keep her airborne, and she starts sinking down to the floor. ]

At your will.

Let's sound the bell of judgment.
[He'll still have to hold back here, especially with Nora on the ground but he'll send out a large blast of light towards Flayn, aiming to purify her of the rest of the miasma. Will this do it? He doesn't quite know himself, but he'll do it as many times as it takes until she's finally clear.]

Judgement given to one of the Goddess's children...! Very well! Even we are not free of sin!
[ It may not do anything at all, but it's the last effort she has. She casts Abraxas on the ceiling of the room, pillars of purple light ramming downward.
The rain of light strikes her once, she staggers. She has a divine core inside of her, no matter how tainted she is. It strikes her twice. Her crest is "light" and it's purifying in and of itself. It strikes her three times. It strikes her four times. It strikes her five times.
Despite her best efforts, light tainted with something old and dark can't stand up to its regular form. Flayn falls over and doesn't move. ]

He floats down to ground level, peering at the small figure before him. ]
So sleeps a child of man and dragon. Shall I call for someone to retrieve her?
no subject
Some of his feathers may have been ruffled a little too literally, but the wound on his arm has already healed, and any scorching from Flayn's attack is quickly patching itself up as well. He tosses a glance over at Nora and Giovanni before shaking his head at Alcor's suggestion.]
That won't be necessary. It shouldn't be any trouble to drop her off outside myself, and I would likely get there faster than any of these lot.
[After all, the only thing they have above them is a glass roof.]
no subject
Did someone also say a glass roof.
Because somewhere between Abraxas and Flayn hitting the ground there is definitely no more Giovanni in the room and also even more definitively no more roof either. Just a quick recap, but there sure was a lot of squawking about THIS IS WHY I HATE GHOSTS and WHY ARE DRAGONS FUCKIN' LIKE THIS from this particular corner of the room when light pillars started happening, because as careful as Sandalphon was with his the dragon was definitely sort of just. Spraying light everywhere, thanks.
And while Nora doesn't actually have all that much resistance built in in this form, he does have speed and he does have reflexes, so what ends up happening is:]
IGNIS MAGIA! BURNINGBLACKDRAGON!!!!
[The full incantation is screeched entirely out of reflex because he hasn't needed to do that in a while, but Nora definitely just released a huge jet-black dragon of flame over his head to shield against the Abraxas, and while it does bounce most of the light pillars it also, uh. Goes entirely through the roof....... Alcor probably felt the pull of the spell more than the others used, because this dragon is probably bigger than Flayn and just went sailing off into the distant skies. F.]
no subject
Are you both alright? [ A look up at the sky and not ceiling. ]
...yes, it would be faster just to evacuate her out of here yourself.
no subject
It would have been preferable if that hellhound hadn't shattered the windows, but I'm fine.
[Anyways, Sandalphon will pick up Flayn's collapsed form as he flaps his wings once again to shake any last bits of glass off of them before taking flight to exit out of the new hole in the roof.
...Is what I'd like to say, but the curse's confounding effects just kind of turn him around or something? Either way, Sandalphon is not pleased!!]
...What in the skies is this?
no subject
[Grumble, grumble, trying to brush glass out of his own hair because he also covered himself in glass, they're doing great. Nora's just going to come stomping over to check on everybody including the... ex-dragon. Squints.........
Squints some more as Sandy grabs her and then does a loop-de-loop in the air or something.]
... The hell were you tryin' to do? You're just going in circles??
no subject
no subject
He just clicks his tongue at Nora as he shoots him a bit of a glare for the commentary. And to Alcor:]
It's nothing of the sort!
[He stops mid-flight and looks back at the hole in the ceiling, which, while not difficult to get close to, apparently just sort of evades his notice when he tries to pass through. There's nothing but frustration as he looks at it balefully.]
This accursed place must be confounding my senses... [this is the worst!!]
no subject
[That sounds stupid!! Much like whatever Sandy is still trying to do in the air there. Nora squints between the ceiling and the angelic loop-de-loops and then. Hefts his spear again.]
Whatever, if your senses are crap then maybe something that's got no senses would work! Obviously! Outta the way!
[He will nominally wait for Sandalphon to stop being in the middle of the scenery before just lobbing his spear into the sky.
Which is apparently fake because I guess the spear just comes flying right back at him or something. I have absolutely no idea how this miasma ceiling works. There's just a squawk and Nora running away from his own spear now.......]
no subject
[ Casually telesteps the spear and blinks next to Sandy. ]
If it this place then allow me to take her. My sense of direction is...largely unimpaired. [ Extends out a tendril. There's still that MJBK but. shh. ]
no subject
Very well.
[Sighs. He really would have liked to do this on his own but in the end it doesn't really matter who does the task as long as it gets done. So he will hand Flayn over to Alcor.]
Are you planning to teleport?
no subject
[ :>. Chaotic star will be chaotic and also he might be slightly miffed that Nora and Sandy were inconvenienced. ]
no subject
[Never mind that he's spending all his time yanking his spear out of the ground right now after having thrown that, Nora is always down for more yeeting -- enemy, ally, inanimate objects, corpses or otherwise. The fact that it's an enemy corpse(????) is just the icing on the cake here??
Are they seriously going to try and yeet Flayn out of the conservatory.]
no subject
Sandalphon reacts with an expression that's more incredulous than surprise, although there's plenty of the latter in there too.]
Wait, what?
no subject
I will control my strength, of course. [ Because this party is ridiculous. ]
no subject
[Honestly leave it to Alcor to make such simple and ridiculous reasoning sound so complicated that Nora honestly can't tell whether he should object or just focus on the fact that they're yeeting an ex-dragon across the house and onto the lawn.
This is a very difficult decision even without the confusion!!!!]
