Week 7: Fast Forward to 2020

It is done.

The last tape has played. All of the information that can be found from them has been discovered. They are free to re-watch the tapes, but nothing new can be found there.

The barrier will fail next Saturday. This is unavoidable. The barrier set by Tages will finally fall, and the curse will be free once more.

The only question is, what will those left alive in 2020 do to prepare?

That's true... even if that one calling themselves 'dog' said that it'd be fine with just the information from the tapes...

[she takes the notes, reading them to herself mentally before stating her thoughts-]

Hmm.

I know there were traps, but... it seemed like there were actually less of that during that final week, don't you think? It seemed a little more - straightforward.

Like... there was no point in trapping things, because there were no rooms they wanted to trap?

Hopefully our ambush won't give them a chance to use any of those rooms. Although I guess there was a secret basement with a jacuzzi.

Yes, there were - not that many places to put them in a corridor of hallways, and they moved from indirect to direct action in the last week.

[He mulls over something]

I do not believe they can swap out the rooms on the fly, or else they would have done so on the final day to disorient the still-living to make it easier to pick them off. The basement... might be our final destination.

Yeah.

[she nods easily, folding her arms a little as she hums to herself]

We just need to find out where the basement is. . . I just hope the jacuzzi is not like, the core of it all.
