Week 7: Fast Forward to 2020

It is done.

The last tape has played. All of the information that can be found from them has been discovered. They are free to re-watch the tapes, but nothing new can be found there.

The barrier will fail next Saturday. This is unavoidable. The barrier set by Tages will finally fall, and the curse will be free once more.

The only question is, what will those left alive in 2020 do to prepare?

Brutal. But not wrong. I get why he didn't tell us after a point but...

[What he did to Gil specifically wasn't okay. He doesn't say it outright so not to insult the king, but it's implied]

Though, there's brief moment of where he fell silent. There was definitely a point of no return indeed, though surely before then...?

"I'm not... who you think I am."

And of course he had to think of that conversation. ]

...At first, I hardly had any intention of planning on listening to what the fool may say simply because of the insult he gave. But, I've decided to be generous enough to reconsider. That foolish sovereign is lucky to even have that.

[ He's frowning again, though. It's not really like it's any of his concern now what other people thought of Solomon (because why would he care anymore, he didn't!) But, now he wondered, of course. Ugh. ]

We all are if what these kids are saying is true. It looks like the Foundation both got way worse and then a little better since we've been gone. Solomon needs to at least do his job.

I'll admit I'm not very invested in it, the Foundation I mean, surviving or not at this point- but I'm not the kinda guy that can leave people to suffer either.

If he can manage to do his job.

[ That was a little huff from him. ]

I could care less about the Foundation and I'm not someone who's doing this out of the good of my heart. I'm simply here to make sure the creature doesn't become more of a nuisance than it already has, and to take care of whatever business I have with that fool.

Following that, I will do as I please.

[ ...And what that'll mean, who knew. Other than the fact he no longer planned on being 'in' the Foundation...though he hadn't for twenty years, so. ]
